Jaxman X1s series are ready to sell

Exactly my thinking. I had the light in my shopping cart until I read only 1 amp.
And at only 1300 Lumen’s, theres nothing a xpl hi can’t do. Please take advantage of the xhp35 hi and the nice big light for heat sink.

if the XHP35hi has the same output as a XPLhi in terms of lumens, still ver nice, means reliable, no heat issues AND bigger lightsource so fatter beam.

I do not want to let a LED working at a non-official condition.
sorry for that, even I really can realize a double current, I would not do it.

xhp50.2 is really easy to realize. we have LED on hand ,coolwhite. if friends need, pls tell us,we can make a 50.2 light for you.

Due to busy work,we have not prepared ready for the link of 50.2

thanks for your support on my thinking.
what I most care, is that: any one Jaxman flashlight must be a solid tool. solid is first.
and what is more, we should find the balance of power consumption and the efficiency.
a 1300lm x1 flashlight has been a good thrower. That is my frankly review on the extra-power input.

How much?

Depending on colour temperature close to $50 for the XHP35 variant and about $42 for the XHP50 variant. You can check them out in the Aliexpress store.

One has free shipping. One doesn’t. So works out the same price

Sounds like an old Chinese proverb, hehe.

I just got the email notification that they have shipped out the jaxman X1s xhp 35 hi cool white… I can’t wait to play. Thanks jaxman.

Edit: ONE AMP…? No wonder, just went outside with the old X1 and a UT02 and there are issues, very under powered, not so impressed I guess, but do realize this is a work in progress so it will improve as you go I suspect, nice host though and superb knurling.

The light is integrated shelf now as the old X1 was a pill, has a new reflector with minimal changes overall.
The knurling on the new X1 is real nice, I am telling you REALLY nice over the old X1, and the tail end threading of the tube still will lego, great mod light.
The board is DTP and lots of thermal and screwed down.
There is no more tripod screw but easily remedied.
This new light is a bit longer or taller by about 3/4” or so.
Branding is now only on the one side instead of both sides, this is nice, very clean light and well machined, As Always…!!
Pocket and shelf is fine…
Tail switch is now a three legged switch and tail stands perfectly and a bit nicer than the old two legged one as shown in pics. Sorry about the dirt on my older X1 switch, the switch a sponge boot I won’t comment.
I will reserve my complete opinions overall as this is not meant to be a in detail review at all, just some pics and some pics I won’t post here,
But I will say I prefer the old reflector over this new one and leave it at that. But I will be contacting you with something I noticed Paul.

My personal thoughts is that I would like to see 2 versions available of the X1 for sale at Jaxman, this new one and the old X1 continued but in this integrated style and with the old style bezel but with this new knurling on it, and also continue with the original LED options and driver format but as mentioned with this newer integrated shelf style, just do away with the old pill, and use the old style bezel back with this new knurling ring as mentioned
I must say that if anything impressed me the most it would be that new knurling.

What would happen if you put the extension tube on the x1s and use two 26650? More output or would you fry the driver?

Had posted a message then thought twice and pulled it down immediately,
Box I don’t know, but suspect the driver will melt down, no big deal, will be stripping it today anyhow, really wanted to say something here to my forum members about this light and what I’m seeing but this isn’t my thread…. all I will say is give this some thought…!!

Thanks T18. I thought it would be cool to have the option of choosing between one or two cells. Instead of getting the jaxman x6

The old X1 will run with 2 cells in stock form, the driver handles 8.4v no problem, it was actually made to be a 2 cell light, single or two cell.
For some reason the owner told me he decided he likes it as just a single cell light and won’t offer customers that extension option, but if you’d like to find yourself an old version X1, I can tell you how to make it into a 2 cell light.
He should still be selling the old version I think, might go this evening and check myself, this light I wouldn’t advise frankly.

Edit: Just looked and there are still old X1’s for about the same price as this new light, he’s say’s on this lights link now that it is listed at 15% off,? Really
Then I glanced at the tints he’s using because mine is so yellow it really makes me rather ill and well no wonders their, it’s a 3000k, then he offers 4000k and then jumps to 6000k, not a great selection.
But dollar for dollar I really think you’ll get more with the old X1 as far as performance, this light is not running the way it could be, nice looking but that’s where it ends for me anyhow,
Also looked to see if he posted my feedback and he did, I do mention that breathing thing he had in my version and told him it’s not funny and bad idea, get rid of it… ha ha
I’m the only one to post a comment so far and I really am curious what others are going to say, I can almost guess.

Edit: Well I know now that Paul is reading my messages, ha ha, glad I pulled one down,

is the old saying is: the wool comes from sheet’s back?

that is a important point I want to make a explaination:

the XHP35 HI X1s can use 2 26650 battries by adding a extention tube. That will improve the effieciency of the driver to 92%+. but the other characters will keep the same with single battery;

the XHP50 X1s can not use 2 26650 battery. It must be use only one battery.

Now I did not make the extention tube, and I now wont like to do it.

the old X1 will still be reserved as a model of Jaxman flashlight.

Great information Paul and GREAT Idea to keep old version of X1, I think I am the wool off sheets back maybe, it’s spelled SHEEP and I no Sheet you Paul, bah bah bah. Sheep laughing, like ha ha ha… ?

I was writing message here as you were writing also and I was suggesting to keep the old X1 version for sale as well but please with old X1 and next batch, please use this new knurling that is on this new X1S

The knurling you have on this new light is the best I have ever seen and it should be on the old version as well, like around the bezel on the old version X1 also, this new style knurling is the most beautiful.

Now that I know I can run extension on this new light I will do a retesting, because you only changed the threading pitch on the head end of the battery tube, on the switch end it remains the same as the old X1 and I have the original extensions still for the old version X1 so will use that to see what happens with performance, really glad to hear that…

I also have a picture I think you should see about this new reflector, might need to talk some with supplier or manufacturer and I’m going to test this new X1S with the old X1 reflector as well with this XHP 35 and a different centering gasket,

I got that 3000K tint by mistake, I am sure hoping what you said in that message will still be true, if so my tint would have to be the 6000K I guess, you are not offering anything in 5000K tints sadly…?

Talk soon Paul
Gary

Well I put an extension of it with 2 x 15A KP cells and there was a noticeable increase from just running the single cell.

The output I saw is what a boost driver and this LED should be doing with a single cell easily, so question should be, just exactly what is this driver boosting…??
The rest of what I think, I think I’ll keep thinking on,
