Ok...GearBest is officially getting on my nerves!

Your view obviously may differ…and on previous orders I was very satisfied with GB…but my oh my things changed on this order!

GearBest tracking is the worse of ANY vendor I have ever dealt with.

They “eventually” gave me a tracking number for my order 6 days after I placed it (and paid for express shipping btw). It took a week for them to process and claim they had shipped the order.

Finally, the order says “shipped”. Ok…great… so I go to check the shipment……nada….can’t find anything on it anywhere with the number they gave so I contact customer service…

They respond the next day that the order has been shipped and give me the SAME tracking number again….checked it again…nada. Checked it the next day…nada….and the next day…nada….

So at this point it’s been 9 days (paid for express shipping) and they either cannot prove it shipped or flat out refuse to provide proof that the item has shipped.

Starting to get a bad taste in my mouth from GearBest.
I’ll be considering this next time I want to order something.

Who is the shipping carrier? If it’s International Bridge, then they have their own website for tracking that works best.

FyI, i have a light coming in from GB right now. Placed order on 6/7. Its arriving on 6/16.

With that said, given the number of orders they process, i would not be surprised if once in a while something goes wrong.

Some ways are really in bad condition.

That’s why i prefer BG more than GB
I Hate NL post, it’s slow, and their tracking code is useless(even i paid extra for tracking code)
On the other hand, i have good experience with China Post. It’s faster(about 1-2 weeks faster), and their code update more frequently


Depends on where you live. PostNL ist pretty fast for me in germany - under 10 days is normal. Plus the package doesn’t get checked by german customs ;)
For tracking I always use http://17track.net/ - the tracking on shopping sites is always a few days behind.

Gearbest tracking has always worked for me. At times, even packages without tracking can be tracked. I ordered approx. 50 items in the last 6-7 months and nothing went missing.

Obviously there is always a case where something can happen when shipping items from overseas. But that can happen with any vendor?

i live just under china, and just above Singapore, their main 2 warehouse

GB ships with NL post. I live in NL and it takes 10 weeks to get here LOL.

1 of my orders from July just showed up and 1 order from July is still not here (both over 60 calendar days or 45 business days to Canada). BRUTAL! Then when I put in a complaint I was made to feel that it must be my fault for not putting in the correct shipping information and/or that I have not contacted my local postal carrier enough about my orders. To their credit, I was given 50 points which is equal to 1USD for my inconvenience. One time when I chose expedited shipping (via DHL at almost 20.00 CDN) for 2 lights, I was notified that 1 light shipped and the other didn’t (after they took my money for shipping). I wouldn’t have paid that amount to have only 1 light shipped. At this point I doubt that I will ever deal with gear best in the future. Hope that others have better experiences with gear best, because as the original poster said, gear best is officially getting on my nerves.

china tracking seems to be going down the drain recently especially SG, CN, and HK Post.

No issues with tracking to Australia from either GB or BG.

Lately, for me, fasttech is very much worse than this.

For me it’s this order:

BG -> GB -> AliE -> Ebay -> FT

FastTech is good if you need cheap bare LEDs - but everything else is just “meh”.
They even try to cheat on you with cheap prices but very expensive shipping.

$14.05 Product, cheapest shipping to germany is $15.84…

GearBest has a very nice variety of knifes and mostly good prices - with coupons from the BLF they surely know how to amaze (4 30Q for under 15$ or so)

i hv no problem with BG & GB delivery so far. As long as it reaches me not exceeding 4 weeks I o.k. But sometimes order do get cancel & refunded but its o.k as long as they’re not sending empty boxes I hv no problem. I’m a very patience man :slight_smile:

If the delivery time is delayed, Dear, do not hesitate to let us know, or ask for the dealine delivery time from the service center, you can ask for proper explaination, then :smiley:

2. One time you selected expedited shipping via DHL 20.00 CDN for 2 lights,1 light shipped and the other didn’t. And we did not return your shipping cost.

The same way, your order number + Ticket number by PM, Please, so I can locate some info about your problem, and find proper solutions for you.

Personally, we may return parts of your shipping cost, but none?

Usually everything has been going fine with GB but now it has been nearly a month when I made a return shipment for a faulty device under warranty and still waiting for my refund. Still no word at all from support.

Also I tried to ask from GB support if I could get my refund to my Paypal account I used to pay for my purchase but they just kept talking about GB wallet and did not give me straight answers despite several times I asked.

Since this was some $130 purchase I don´t want to wait very much longer.
