Thrunite TN 42 ,a new record in Throw

You never heard of your fellow Texan? Michael Johnson OSTS…TN31mb…user name Saabluster? Anyway, we will just have to wait.

EDIT: YOU NEVER HEARD OF THE DEFT X?!!

I really wish you would stop bringing up Richard. You brought it up sarcastically in an email and now again on here.

I know what happened and my experience has NOTHING to do with yours or others.I do not make things up. I tell the truth.

Your second paragraph is irrelevant, provoking and has NOTHING to do with who I believe has or will have the longest throwing TN42! I am sure you wanted to get a reaction out of me by digging up the past. This is it, as civil as I can be.

Anybody who can put Two and Two together can see that and also look right through your motives and your skewed way of thinking. Maybe you ought to slow down on that pain medicine or whatever your taking, your reasoning and logic is distorted and your insinuations are way off base.

My opinion is soley based on my experience with Vinh lights and Michael’s lights.

Seems, as wolfdog kinda said; if there is ever to be a clear winner in this customer debate…… a THROW DOWN should take place sometime. A heads up side by side comparison of lights to be considered for the title. Come one come all too.

Same test equipment, same rules, same everything. Only way to know for sure…. A Throw Off. Otherwise, even though these light are ALL fantastic… it is simply customer opinion & rhetoric as to which is “best”.

So till that happens, my money is on an obscure, little known light modder that lives at his camp in an undisclosed location somewhere in the bayous of south Louisiana. (rumor has it he may be a distant cousin of our very own chops728 here on BLF…. but even chops is not sure  . )

Anyway, above described Billy Bob Budro of Cajun Boo-Yah CandlePower is reportedly the designer & maker of some phenomenal lights…… especially far reaching throwers.

Never heard of him you might say…… Don’t worry, outside his location in the swamp; not many have.

Hmmmmm… what was vinh’s response to all of this & your dissatisfaction??

A liar will eventually get entangled in their own web. The satisfaction of that alone is all the revenge one needs.

A people pleaser is one who is searching for acceptance in ALL the wrong ways. Wolfdog-6.16.2017

man this guy is full of himself huh :person_facepalming:
why would you post something like this on a public forum?
did you come up with this profound prophecy all by yourself ?
this is stuff a 1st grader knows, and we as adults have known for years, but you just came up with it 6-16-2017 , and write your name beside it ?? … lol!! ! ……too funny….
your the one that needs to back off the meds, before you make yourself look even sillier than you already have in a public forum… :person_facepalming: :person_facepalming:
wow just wow…

After watching Swamp People a few weeks ago—Troy Landry has never heard of him either—-looked like ole Troy was using a hand held Q beam or some other low powered light—not very impressive——LOL

That is a down right shame & disgrace for the pride of Pierre Part to be using a Q Beam!! :person_facepalming:

I have a friend in New Iberia that knows T-roy…… I’ll see if I can get him to ask TL to step up his game a bit and get with the program.

Maybe ole BB Budro will even surface again and I can hook them up with him. Who knows……

I most definitely got a bad light. I redid the lux measurements many times and still got the same numbers. The hotspot on it looks really weird, so something is definitely up with it.

He did eventually say it is what it is and offered me to send it back. But with the taxes and shipping adding up to almost a third of the cost it wasn’t really an option.

I understand. That’s a shame too. You came up on the short end of that deal…. :frowning:

If anyone knows a shop to get one CW for a good price pm me (or even NW if price is good) . Thanks

Check with M4D M4X ——- The deal he has on neutral is close to what I paid

Yea. Shipping and taxes can be expensive for out of country. I have many vn lights… maybe 2 or 3 bad. He offered to repair for free and pay for shipping too. I also heard great story about vinh… he even upgrade other stock light for free… ( if you are nice to him)…

:+1: … It only makes sense for the maker/modder to pay for any costs associated with returning an obviously bad light for repair. A happy customer is worth a lot more than the monetary cost associated with that.
Word of mouth advertising is great…. but it works both ways. And that applies to anything, not just flashlights. :+1:

Yea… obviously, buying and returning from the over sea can be frustrated. They have to deal with the taxes and shipping… ( 21 days )… so yea… but anyway, I am a vn guy.

Yeah, I’m sure it can be. I don’t have a vn light at this point…. but I can always dream.

Hello everyone sorry to bring up an old thread. I got the great idea to mod my tn42 without fully knowing what I was doing lol. I added one r100 resistor to the the four r062 resistors that are lined up on the board. So iam pretty new to modding with resisters did I mess up by adding the r100 resistor?

I had used an online tool someone made for TN42 reflector and throw calculation cant find it anymore
