Mine came today , nice looking little thing however I have an issue with them , I bought them for my kids camping trip (D of E) as it has a whistle I thought it would be good.
Trying to get any noise out of it is almost impossible , sounds like you are blowing down a straw.
The magnet is quite strong though, it seems to start in low mode and mid and hi arenât bad for its size.
I got mine, too. I can confirm that the whistle doesnât work. Also low and mid do have very visible PWM. But this light was so cheap, I canât complain. I like it.
Maybe Iâll cut off the whistle to save space and weightâŚ
The whistle does work but the pitch is quite high. Most probably due to the restricted airflow. Frankly speaking, i don't like the taste of brass in my mouth, thus i am not going to use that function.
My arrived today, but I will not blow the whistle.
Tried it, but I must be deaf in that frequency range, nothing heard.
Other than that, nice little light⌠:+1:
Unfortunately Iâm forced to cancel my second order with this flashlight. Due to nonworking whistle.
I intended to be a gift, but it does not happen in this situation.
Iâm sorry, but I do not quite agree.
Once the whistle function is described, the flashlight should work as a whistle also.
I bought and got two for a gift and now I wonder how to explain what exactly is thisâŚ
A red point from me to Zanflare because of the bad design.
Sorry, members of BLF about the F6 whistle issue, I have applied for further improvement to the whistle function.
And guess what, R & D Team answered back, if we wanna up the sound of F6 whistle, then we have to have a long enough pitch for air flow, that is, the F6 maybe be designed longer and more space, then.
They now are working for a solution, as to how long we exactly designed for F6, and the final parameter of F6âs decibel, we later will give you instant feedback.
At the same time, any comments will be highly appreciated, and really hope more advice from you wiseman.
