KD (kaidomain): Deals and new products thread

This is the only thing I have been able to find for it so far

Received my KDIY K5 XHP50.2 NW today.
Quite happy with it.
Did a rough ceiling bounce test with a lux metre. I got 162 lux with my TM26 on the 1850 lumen mode. Got 174 on the K5 on turbo. So just under 2k lumens I’m guessing.
Does a bright preflash before going into the lowest setting. Not sure it’s all like that or just mine.
I think the light is great value.

If your lucky. :stuck_out_tongue:

Do anyone order and try this out ?

You are right about everything. In the line of budget lights KD is one of the pioneers (if not the first one) to come out with this nice boost driver, a solution to many single 18650 flashlights in order to run a 6V emitter.

I do agree that a sub 2000 lumens single 18650 flashlight is very bright already, but as a flashaholic I simply can’t have enough of lumens! If they use that XHP70 and push that 20mm boost driver a little bit harder, 3000 lumens is still better than 2000 lumens!

They all do it.

Thanks kvetope! I have seen that one when searching for it. Hope someday I can see another one, although being “simple” it seems a good light!! Outside demonstration would be great, though…
Thank you!

Noticed after I posted that it preflash if you turn the light on and memory mode is on low too. Annoying

Is there any S2 or convoy pill on KD?

@BanL
Could you please give me exact measurements for this switch (http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S024079.DIY-LED-Flashlight-Reverse-Clicky-Switch-12mm-x-12mm-for-LED-Flashlight-Black-button-5-pcs)? Most of your switches have a picture with all measurements only this nice square one not. And if you have more tech specs like max Ampere. . . it would be helpfull.
I marked the 3 measurement that i would like to know if it is possible (i am modding a light and want to change the complete switch construction and to know if it fits i need this information).

Sure.

I will go to find the product draft or measure it for you on tomorrow.

Thank you

Hi

You can let me know the dimension of pill.

Or you can take a look on this

Any news on the switch (http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S024079.DIY-LED-Flashlight-Reverse-Clicky-Switch-12mm-x-12mm-for-LED-Flashlight-Black-button-5-pcs)?

3000K, 92CRI on an XM-L2? Sign me up!

yep, was already mentioned here. I ordered two. Gonna put one in my skilhunt and they other I don’t know yet.

I put 3 in my Olight SRmini, they make a warm cosy tint for ambient lighting !

@BanL
I apologize if this has been been raised before (couldn’t find anything after going through a few pages):
Would Kaidomain potentially be able to source or manufacture quad DTP copper MCPCBs /w optics? With or without emitters on them? Either 20mm in diameter or maybe larger?

Thanks!

Hi MILSPEC

Thank you for your advice.

We don’t get any product that uses the quad DTP copper MCPCB.

I will try to see.

Thank you

Ban

Some sort of chinese manufacturer produces these: 20x Copper Star Heatsink Base Plate PCB Board 20mm For Cree XPE XPG XTE XPL LED @ led-world2007

Yes, they're DTP boards, also known as thermoelectric separated / thermoelectric separation boards.

Hope this is of help; 20 boards at a time doesn't sounds very seductive to me.
