Gearbest's Father's Day Giveaway - 4 lights! WINNERS LIST IN POST 95

My father always wanted to fix anything by himself. I follow that way.

Although my dad passed away from lung cancer almost 12 years ago, this Father’s Day it struck me harder than it has in a long time. He was a quiet man, but he had incredible insight, and I find myself wanting his advice now more than ever. Then I reflect on the job I am doing being a father to my 15, 12, and 6-year old kids. It’s gratifying to see how they’re progressing in spite of Autism Spectrum Disorder and a reminder to me to do the things which will make them look up to me for insight and inspiration.

My father always tell me to be a good person.

my father always said when you have you own then you’ll undestand.

My Father always said do best in my life. I really respect him!

My father always said be fair and treat people the best you can and life should work itself out.

I have an amazing father who has taught me more than I could have ever hoped to learn. He is basically my hero. I spend a lot of time with him and it always reminds me how much he means to me. I use Father’s Day as a way to celebrate that fact. Here’s to all the great fathers out there. Cheers.

Hey… Im post #39!!! Not the light I was hoping for, but I will take it!

What do I need to do?

Thanks a lot for the give a way!

Haha! just now read your post. This old guy that owned a liquor store when I was a kid, used to sell us cigarettes and cherry bombs. We used to bicycle across town, buy a pack of cigs and a dozen cherry bombs from ol Sid, and go down by the river and mess around. 12yrs old. We didn’t inhale back then, but sure had fun. Sid’s Son now runs the place and I go in once in a while and joke with him about his Dad selling us that stuff.

Wellp, if anyone didn’t get the ref, it’s from TBC:

But yeah, we used to do great stuff as kids. Not much of a Nanny State back then. We’d shoot off fireworks, stick crayons up our noses, run with scissors, etc. Bottles of sody-pop were actually made of nice breakable glass. Toys had nice small inhalable parts that taught us manual dexterity. Erector Sets and Tonka Trucks were all made of f’n METAL, not cheap plastic crap. “Wear a helmet when riding a bike?!?” Only if you were one of those “special” kids or just had brain surgery or something.

And we survived just fine.

Congrats to the winners!
