You are right about everything. In the line of budget lights KD is one of the pioneers (if not the first one) to come out with this nice boost driver, a solution to many single 18650 flashlights in order to run a 6V emitter.
I do agree that a sub 2000 lumens single 18650 flashlight is very bright already, but as a flashaholic I simply can’t have enough of lumens! If they use that XHP70 and push that 20mm boost driver a little bit harder, 3000 lumens is still better than 2000 lumens!
Thanks kvetope! I have seen that one when searching for it. Hope someday I can see another one, although being “simple” it seems a good light!! Outside demonstration would be great, though…
Thank you!
@BanL
Could you please give me exact measurements for this switch (http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S024079.DIY-LED-Flashlight-Reverse-Clicky-Switch-12mm-x-12mm-for-LED-Flashlight-Black-button-5-pcs)? Most of your switches have a picture with all measurements only this nice square one not. And if you have more tech specs like max Ampere. . . it would be helpfull.
I marked the 3 measurement that i would like to know if it is possible (i am modding a light and want to change the complete switch construction and to know if it fits i need this information).
@BanL
I apologize if this has been been raised before (couldn’t find anything after going through a few pages):
Would Kaidomain potentially be able to source or manufacture quad DTP copper MCPCBs /w optics? With or without emitters on them? Either 20mm in diameter or maybe larger?
I don’t know if I should be posting this here, but it has to do with KD products.
Does anyone know if the following drivers work with 14500 Li-Ion batteries?
This driver will work for your voltage range, but it is L-H-Strobe. I have ordered one of the CF-17mm drivers recently, so I can let you know if 14500 works when it arrives.
