Some of my last Nitecore lights ;-)

Nitecore MT22A Vs other 2xAA paralell flashlight D20A, The nitecore is much lighter and compact:

MT22A is capable of ct EDC in my front pocket (I like the deep clip position):

Specs Vs my meassurement in lumens:

Short runtime without fan, values each 15 seconds, temperature over head surface (die-cast aluminium)- The body is Policarbonate.

Little step down from 255 lumens to 175 lumens after 10 minutes

Are there two switches? What’s that beside the rear switch?

Hello:

  1. Only one switch, reverse, mechanical, in the tail.

The side button is a system for unlock the opening of the head:

2. …beside the rearswitch…. nothing special, just the plastic section has a pattern embossed in the plastic.

Thanks!

I love the light and bought one unit at my cost….in yellow (named YF):

Nitecore MT22A yellow (YF) and black

Mine will arrive in a couple days. But how do you like the UI? How is it like?
Thanks for the review.

I prefer not strobe in normal secuence, but there are not memory, really I never click in strobe.

I have dozens of lights, most of them start in low modes, is fine for me this, but I like an option for start in high (is not perfect interface, but I love the design and the feeling in hand).

I have fallen off the wagon. Again.
You are not to blame, I ordered it before I read your review.
Having read your review I think: I’m not to blame either :smiling_imp:

Thanks for your review.

Great to know there is no memory. Thanks.

Got mine today. Very nice clickie switch. Feels great.
The light is fairly compact. It is not as light weight as I thought but mainly because of the two batteries.
The time needed to reset mode memory is about 5 seconds. If less than that between two clicks, you will be in the next mode. But 5 seconds is not bad.
Overall I love it. Great value for the price!

I have been carrying mine around in the side pockets of my shorts for a few days now. Easier to carry than some of the 2 X AA lights I have. I am kinda of fond of the side X Side design.

Why it doesn’t have Warm/ Neutral white emitter like other model, why Nitecore :expressionless:

Mine is not that cool its a more neutral color. I am a big NW fan and I was pleased with its tint.

This is mine, I have tried to get the best pic for show the tint of my unit:

Thanks all for comment here your impressions!

Where did you get yours from? The only US seller I see right now is BatteryJunction.

It was Bang Good but it shipped from the US?
I guess that have a warehouse somewhere in the USA

Thanks Mr Hokie bird! I didn’t know they had a US warehouse, have to look into that. By the way, of all the places we have lived, Christiansburg/Blacksburg Va were my favorites!

Me to!

Received mine today!

- it will tailstand (despite the protruding tail switch)

  • tint is NW too, very good

…and mine came in too. Love it, nothing wrong: great form factor and the yellow is :sunglasses: , looks robust, safe because 2xAA, it has my kind of simple UI with very good mode spacing, good cool-ish tint that fits the yellow exterior, very good beam, glad they did not choose XP-G3.

This is a flashlight to really use and it makes a nice present too.
