The advantage is the zoom feature. There are not many edc zoomies available. I’m curious how this one will feel in the hand:)

Well, I once had a inexpensive zoomie (not the SK68) and find its zoom-out useful in special moments…..unfortunately I lost it and still looking for it until today!

Since topic #1 don’t have Danny Welbeck in list, I have to choose topice #2 instead. Yeah, it’s zoomie from trustworthy brand.

Take care of your flashlight and your flashlight will take care of you.

A reliable zoom with a good moonlight, that I can mod to take an amber emitter.

I really like AA/14500 compatibility in a zoomable flashlight.

AA size name brand flashlight with zoomable feature plus moonlight mode. Question: Is moonlight mode 5 lumens or .5 lumens?

I like the zoomability in 1AA NiMH
Does it actually get 500 lumens from NiMH though or only 14500?

Topic 2: I’ve only ever had 1 zoomie and quite liked it even though the quality overall was so bad (no complaint because it was on sale for $6, then I had a store coupon for -$5, so I paid $1 in the end). A better one from a reputable brand is surely a huge plus.

It's a bit of a pity current li-ion development in 14500 format is somewhat lacking. If top brand manufacturers were building 'em, high discharge cells' capacity would be in the 1.1-1.3Ah effective range, with 10+A rates with ease.

Don't forget to set under-voltage protection for li-ion in the driver, please (≈2.8V).

A zoomie and 14500 would be a great combo especially for non flashlight people

Topic one, a few years ago I would have said Clive Owen but now I’d give the nod to Gerard Butler. Tom Huddleston would be fun but as with Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, is too fragile seeming. With the right script and direction he could certainly pull it off though.

Three Tanna leaves to give him life, nine to give him movement. But what if he eats the whole bag?

I like that it’s AA-compatible zoomie from a good manufacturer.
As to moonlight, now I see 2 lm. Is this the final number?
