Imalent DX80 32000 lumen monster

It looks like the head has enough room to hold the mass that would be needed to sink lots of heat for a spell.

Fuel supply? Four 18650 high drain? Or more capacity than that?

Emitter configuration? Eight 70.2?

I eagerly await throw and other specs.

QC/QA: Going Gear recently started carrying Imalent. It would be great if Marshall could do a video and provide his opinion.

Imalent use the same pic for promoting their DDT40

oh what a facepalm using that pic
Or did the Repulsor guys and Imalent use some sort of stock pic?

It will have 8 XHP70 and 8 18650 batteries + 6 output levels

@ Davevo 5k:

it seems, you have some infos about this light - how much does it cost!?

Horrible, horrible spacing… :person_facepalming:

Will come back to you if she answers my email.

Hahaha What a guess by me :stuck_out_tongue:

379 USD

look forward to some discount codes…

Is the price real? Dang even with some discounts it still beyond my reach.

Most hits for the picture is the Repulsor (did that thing ever take off? )

But it is also found on BG’s Thorfire TG06 page:

On ebay it is found here:

lol even this light, it shows they use whatever pictures they found.

Imalent put a very good looking semi tease/promo video on Facebook. This light does have an OLED display right above the “mode” button (that showed 32000 lumen). There is also an interesting design feature: The single led board for 8xXHP70 rests on a shelf that is connected to a pretty much conventional looking radiator design. This radiator design consists of about fifteen thin (about 1 mm or so) plates that are housed inside the light. There seems to be air vents next to the mode button where the radiator can get rid of the heat. Looks like a really interesting construction with passive cooling. Well it looks mighty fine so far!

I wish to watch this promo video but I don’t have fb account unfortunately!
I found the link eventually: Imalent Flashlights

Someone ripped the video (I think) and put it on Youtube. It really is a nice video!

please dont be 8P1S battery, imagine the current, maybe enough for welding

Great video, but I’m still not convinced they make a flashlight that meets my expectations.

Do you think so? Check out post #30 (Bruno28 is also a member here): IMALENT DT70---a powerful flashlight up to 16000LM! | Candle Power Flashlight Forum!

Purrrrrfect timing right before the release of the DX80… :person_facepalming:

any ETA on the DX80? would like to see how things will turn out.
