ENEDED

astrolux, think i will wait until everyone is happy with one before i part with my loot, S42 !!!

XANES-KT-01 keychain light was the first to adopt this side switch with dragon breath and battery status indicator. However it has a "M" logo instead of "ON/OFF" symbol.

The silicon cover of MF-01 switch is much similar to ASTROLUX S42 but it does not protrude out as much.

Put me down for one.
Price would be a factor though. When will the deal details be shared?
Thanks!

Could be under a month. No promise though.

Pm me price freeme , thanks

Sorry, light is not ready yet. I don't have a price for it.

I will feedback to them on the UI. Hopefully they are willing to make changes (such as instant ON/ OFF, direct TURBO and mode spacing)

Ok , thanks

Why not get in touch with ToyKeeper, who I’m sure can make a fabulous F/W for the light.

As a side note, it has become very common on ecigs to lock/unlock the device with a fast serie of five clicks. Although it may seem cumbersome on paper it has proven quite fast and efficient. However, it takes a friendly switch - on some lights the side switch is too stiff for such a fast click action.

Long press to unlock is just plain anyway. :person_facepalming:

Interested. Please add to list

Im interested.

Possibly, then you could clip it to your hat for hands free operation.

I am interested as well freeme! :sunglasses:
Thank you, for working on putting this together.

Glad someone figured out I wasn’t serious when I asked

There’s usually someone asks a daft question so I thought hell I might as well ask it for them this time.

Interested...

I’m interested.

Couple of questions and observations:

  1. The UI as it stands could really be improved. I think that could make or break the sale for some people.
  2. BangGood lists this at $110. Any idea if that’s going to be roughly the price?
  3. Any idea how much lower lumens the 219Cs are? The XP-G2s in the Meteor are about 11% brighter than the 219Cs, presumably the G3s in this are a bit better again. Can we expect over 10000lm from the 219C version?
  4. What does turbo drop down to after it gets too hot? Presumably it can’t sustain 5100lm until the batteries die.
  5. The runtime numbers look wrong, as 100lm matches up with 500h. I’m guessing it should either be 50h at 100lm or 500h at something like 10lm. Also 600lm at 14h seems high
  6. Weight is listed at 550g without batteries. With 45g batteries that would make it 730g. That seems very high for the size. For reference the X80 is 510g with batteries and the X45 is 700g. Is it actually heavier than the X45 or is the weight listed including batteries?

Thanks!

Welcome Dave!
Now that is a good list of questions you got there, heck of a first post!
Thanks.
