TEXAS LUMENS Website and Store

As I was suspecting with your prior comments, he must be either heavily medified post surgery, or may have had the surgery and is NOW really on the meds, either way, very medicated obviously…
Glad to hear you are now on the mend, through with a very tough surgery and will hope for your full quick recovery Dale, have DDD myself, all the “C’s” are collapsed and fusing on their own I guess, sure ain’t funny that’s for sure.

Been there. C1 shattered, stainless rods and a crap load of wire, and a nasty scar to boot. Look for months or up to a year to get back to normal with minimal or possibly no pain. Good luck…

We have had a good week…the store is back on-line and I had time to run these extra hosts. They still need to be cleaned up but not looking tooooo bad.

More to come….slow but MORE!

MANY MANY THANKS to each of you for your continued support and interest in our lights. TL

Nice !! That top one copper or brass ?
You do custom work also ? Just curious, probably couldn’t afford you…

Edit: Actually your parts prices are quite reasonable. Might have to build one now, damn you…

That top one is Tellurium copper. That doesn’t stink your hand up as bad as the other coppers. Thanks for looking. I’ll take the “Damn You” as a compliment! :+1:

Man I log in every two weeks to see if you’ve come up with a smaller light A la Mac or Gizmo,

Ever considered it? Any chance in a custom host?

Thanks for looking! We do custom lights. We are about to turn loose a C-8 size for the XHP series LED’s . I don’t have anything small on the drawing board right now but you have made me start thinking!! :person_facepalming: Thanks again. TL

Update on our C8 series…. here are some images of the prototype run. We should have this one ready next week….or sooner if Boots will get to work! (No one needs to tell her I said that. :disappointed: ) Hoping these will work well with the XHP series LEDs, hence all the grooves for cooling. Enjoy!

The business end….

Cut it off & flipped it around the udder way…… shortcut! We are using the body here for a jig. ….

UPDATE EDIT 7-27-17:

I had to run a hand full of these so while I was at it, I punched out a couple of 20700 Ripples Bodies. For those that might want this in a 20700 battery size…. I added two images to the bottom of the post. Same Price…. Enjoy! Thanks to all!!

Its good to see the C8 taking shape. Is it going to use a 26650 battery?

Hi Steve!
We are doing both, a 20700 and a 26650 on the C8. The one in the images is for 20700. The 26650 is a little different looking and built somewhat different. Keeping the design right for maximum cooling has become a challenge but we seem to be on track.

TL

Thanks for the update TL.

Did an update to the original post…. There are a couple of these with the Ripples Body avaiable now in the 20700 battery size. Images at the bottom of the original post.

Thanks for looking!! TL.

I got my texaslumens light back from getting it cerakoted, here’s what the light looks like in graphite black. Don’t mind the lint.

!

!

Nice job of Cerakote. Thanks for sharing the image. :+1: TL

We have had a lot of requests for a “SMOOTH TLSA9” …… So we just added “Vanilla Smooth” to the series. This one is slick except for the cooling grooves on the head and we felt those just had to remain. At around 3300 lumens… we have to get rid of the heat.

Pick you Battery Bore and your Tint…. … and add this code for a nice discount on any TLSA9 Flashlight! BLF-TLSA9V Code ends Nov 7.

Thank you for the continued support we appreciate each of you. TL

TL,

Your lights are beautiful.
I especially like the Aluminum ones with the Copper insert in the head like the one that you had a special on a few posts back (7/27/2017).

I am going to make one of these mine…I just need to decide which one suits me best, and how much I can spend.

Excellent work.

Many Thanks for the kind comments. We try to produce the best lights we possibly can.

Thanks Again. TL

That is one smooth light TL. Your range has some amazing looking lights in it. Nice work. :+1:

Thanks Steve! I’m just trying to catch up to your work! :innocent: More to come soon I hope…. if I don’t wear out!!

Thanks Again. TL
