Personally i like the āslowā ramping , for easier control (finding the suitable brighness) .
Can you reverse the ramping by releasing the switch and holding it again?
Hey that sounds like an iteration of Narsil.
Yes you can .
Perfect! Thatās so much nicer than the TC12 then.
I am a big fan of ramping , so i was excited since the announcement of this light .
What i really like and i think it will be useful for the average user is they big variety of batteries that it accepts , from 1*18650 / 1*18350 to 2*16340 / 2*18350 etc .

In your beam images you light up a plant pot. What kind of plant is it and is it native to Greece? Great review.
I hear that the battery rattles in the tube quite a bitā¦is this the case?
I ordered one. Came out to $39.96 with the discount code. Free shipping too.
Great price, I ordered one too!

Excellent! I plan on using mine with an 18350. I have a few Efest 900mAhās in stock. I really like that itās flexible with battery sizes.

Thanks ! Haha i canāt really remember itās name , but i will reply here when i do

Also , updated in the first post the output/time diagram , on the highest brightness of the ramping mode . Over 90% of the total output (about 580 otf lumens) for about 110 minutes ā¦

With the provided 3400mAh battery , it rattles but only a little . Maybe with unprotected and/or slimmer batteries there is a biggest issue .
The rattling is easy to fix. Just wrap a post-it note around the battery. No more rattle.
This thread died rather quickly. Anyway, mine shipped. I should have it in a few days.
Didnāt have time to update the review , tomorrow is the time
Very cool. Looking forward to it
Does the switch stay lit in all cases?
I prefer the battery indication to signal on activation then turn off, for all battery states; signal intermittently (say every 10 seconds) during use only when the battery is below 25; every 5 seconds when the battery is below 20; then not signal during use but step down the output when the battery is below 15% to prolong remaining runtime.
Great price but I still donāt want to risk getting a green NW.
Updated the thread : Usb charging / Battery indicator / Conclusion
I wasnāt happy with the UI video so i will give it another try .

Yes it stays on all the time , in every mode except firefly mode .
TC12 V2 nw had a great tint , this light is CW and tint is pure white , and maybe a little rosy on the edges .
Really happy with the light so far ā¦
Mine arrived today. So far Iām really liking it. It runs fairly hot in the turbo mode, but not hot enough to be of any concern. I havenāt measured battery life yet on the Efest 900mAh 18350 Iām using, but it does seem to do pretty good. The tint is supposed to be cool white, to my eyes itās closer to a neutral white
