Upcoming New--Haikelite HT35 HD Zoomy flashlight (2300Lumens)

From my decades of extensive led testing experience, im sorry i have to disagree with your opinion. A straight beam of the same lumens will always out throw a divergent beam soon enough.

proof you are wrong

same LED just shallow dome and high dome
the high dome projects a at least 5 times larger size of the emitting area to the Aspheric lens
of course the high dome will have like 300% more lumens
result 300%/50060 throw

just read just one of the good aspheric thrower topics with cd measurements

Well my point is that a straight beam gives the maximum throw in potential than a divergent beam. it is up to one to find a good combination of aspheric lens and led to get the straight beam. The sneak preview for this light shows a divergent beam with a Hi undomed led so i think a domed led will give a straighter beam . You can proof im wrong only after you had tested both but not before my friend. As i say i only suspect its the case but it will ultimately be proven only after one has tested both so its premature to make any absolute judgement yet. :stuck_out_tongue:

You can look at the emission graphs, the HI version has higher intensity near 0 degrees and less intensity to wider angles.

So it’s for sale where?
Who is “the backpack on the road”?

Just got email from Haikelite, there are now available on Gearbest i think m4dmax already got a coupon deal. so it is worth to visit his website.

So this is another aspheric flashlight that has loads of fins on the slider, which is mass and volume that is not as effective as can be because the heat has to pass the slider/body barrier (in fact a layer of silicon grease in the threads) to get there The heat will get there for sure but the led is left hotter than when the fins can be reached by the heat without passing bottlenecks.
But perhaps in practice there is enough surface area between slider and body that the barrier is not really a bottleneck?

That still leaves the humble and budget sk68 as the only zoomie that has the fins in the correct place.

Thanks for the information.

Meanwhile, as our led supplier can not source back 35HI NW on time, HT35 emitter will use 35 HD version. The focus beam turned out to be even nicer.

Cheers, just my little observation from my years of flasholism projects. Its my pleasure to see a young startup that does promising light projects right. :+1:

hi Fatlight

Thanks a million for the informative suggestion. Yes, HD does turn out to be better for aspheric lens and produces more lumens

I’d like to see a well-modded SK68 compared to this.
Of course starting with a $2 SK68 clone and changing the emitter and driver makes it pricier, but not that much more expensive.

How different is this zoom light different from the cometa?

Hopefully less risk of short circuit than the Cometa!

Does it step down or maintain output? I love the look!

It steps down to 1300 lumens at around 30 minutes. Then will maintain the output. Other modes are full regulation

What is cometa? sir

The xhp35hd version has the same throw as the xhp35hi version?Gearbest sells HT35 xhp35hi nw / cw but you produce HT35 xhp35hd versions, strange mixed

35HD has better throw and is brighter. we asked Gearbest to correct the information. Its xhp35 hd, not hi.

ok thanks
