Banggood - Is it time to ban them from the forum?

http://budgetlightforum.com/my-problem-posts

Wow. Amazing what some people consider “rude”…

And from weeks ago, yet.

But anyway, how’s a normal person supposed to be able to find this link? Seems buried, with nothing else linking to it.

Yes, it is buried and difficult to find.

Mr. Admin provided a link to it quite a while ago, and I bookmarked it.

Where were we. Oh yeah. Should we ban banggood? lol!

I've had a pretty good experience with Banggood, though I haven't ordered anything from them in a while.

Back in May, I PM'd swi to see if BG would like to sponsor a 2017 NBA Finals giveaway, but swi never got back to me.

I got 3 “rude” posts. One of which was definitely rude but the others?

awaiting more rude points

I've got 9 rude posts, but they're all pretty innocent.

Lately I've been going out of my way to not be rude, and that's a good thing.

I see nothing rude in the 2 posts above. Wood screws in a flashlight?

Naaaah, they are OK…….

@ Lightbringer…… if you cannot find it click the link to it in my sig line. It is there & gonna stay there… for me & as a “public service” to others…

I got a feeling that maybe some vendors are responsible for the rude points……

I agree. I said negative things about Imalent’s lousy quality control. I got a rude mark for that.

I was/am pretty upset after buying the NC NU30 and after seeing the x-ray from stephenk I freaked out a bit. The pointy screws you see in the x-ray are woodscrews I believe.

Tell me about it… 2 of them definitely got me scratching my head, definitely in the “you gotta be kidding me…” category.

3rd was post #57 in this thread. Someone must’ve just “discovered” it reading this thread.

I’ve never had problems with Banggood but then again I’ve never had any problems buying things from Chinese vendors. The only issues were occasional long shipping times but nothing that I was surprised at. And it’s not as if I buy things infrequently; over the past several years I’ve probably made several orders per month from one offshore vendor or another.

Wondering if there’s a way to “appeal” rude-votes, if only to declutter your “rude-count”. If a vendor does indeed vote your post as rude, and the only way to get it out of your “rude-count” is to delete the post, then that’s a form of censorship. You dare not criticise a product or vendor for fear of being “ruded” all the time. Crappy product/vendor then wins.

exactly!
And I kinda understand that rude marking is anonymous but still, someone can just do it for the fun of it (or trying to work on your nerves just like a troll) and get away with it.
Maybe company vendors should not be able to mark posts as Rude, they are a company so it’s not like you single out a person…

Nothing rude did you say in #57 at all. Somebody just got their panties in a wad and took it out on you.

Edit: … In fact copied below is what you said in post #57. Nothing RUDE do I see.
.

That was towards me, and know for a fact I didn’t press the rude button. Got thicker skin than resorting to a button

That’s what I mean. I wasn’t irked, annoyed, nothing like that. Just said that I was no longer going to take part in the discussion. Let everyone cool off…

I wasn’t a “BG rat”, in fact, I explicitly said I never ordered anything before (or since). Think my words were that “I don’t have a dog in this fight either way” or something to that effect.

But someone just came along yesterday or whenever (ie, just saw the bargraph today, and someone mentioned the “24hr rule”) and dinged me for that. Whaaa??

Someone must dislike NMM more than me lol
