New 4XP Noctigon MCPCB for quad optic

I don’t think that “50% battery” is a valid comparison. If you arrived at 50%, you used it for X minutes. Weaker flashlight after the same runtime will have more energy left and after long enough X it will surely outshine a DD light.

For me it’s the fourth from the left.
The one with the last step removed.

Got 3 of your D4’s Hank, spectacular, when are your D1S lights going to be available…? Thanks

T18, do you have a XP-L HI Version of the D4!?
If so, how ‘heavy’ is the max. lumen output!?

Yes I do and should weight the same as all of them, very little weight difference in the weight of emitters and frankly IMO it’s a bit much for this light, cold to blazing hot in 30 seconds or less so if your just wanting to shock and awe someone well that will do it, but if looking for working light at higher levels this might not be it, sort of depends and I don’t have a box yet to do any OTF testing, I think TK might have specs for that, or soon anyhow as she’s in the groove for furthering development now. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help, just a mention, I also have the Nichia and S4 2B which are cheaper than XP-L HI 3A and more usable so not sure really if I would spend the extra $$$$ again, working on toning it down some, different emitters.

Edit: May have misunderstood your weight/heavy question, ha ha, duh…

Excuse me Sir where is the video? Thanks

Hi Hank,
When will the D1S be ready?

D1, will be coming first which is going to be available in 18650 18500 and 18350
Very small size, throws around 40Kcd.
Probably in the middle of the month towards the end of the month, D1S will follow soon.

What is the difference between D1 and D1S?

D1 is much smaller than D1S, slightly bigger than D4.

Can you perhaps tell us more about the D7?

Emisar D7 uses 7 LEDs and 3*18650 in parallel, it is scheduled after Emisar D1S.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

So D7 will be significantly bigger than DQG Tiny 26650….

Hank, have you thought about selling Emisar hosts? There was some discussion about people disappointed with the driver. Now I got in a position where I’d like some D1 with XHP 50.2 which I guess will not be available….

Hank, big fan of your lights here man! Could you possibly lay out what emitters options will be in the D1, D1S, and D7? For the record I own one of your earlier C8s and I own 3 D4s, and have another one on order from Richard. My brother owns a CW version of the M-34. Each flashlight that I own that you produced has had no problems I have encountered. That is an excellent track record indeed.

As some guys pointed out host version would be nice and appreciated in your flashlight parts store.

I don’t know what the plans are, but what would one do with an empty D4 host?

XHP was mentioned, but I doubt a XHP mod will be feasible — a boost driver probably won’t fit in the driver cavity, and the body tube isn’t long enough for two 18350 cells. The driver is a custom size and there is only enough physical space for a single-sided board with a few relatively low-profile components.

The parts which are relatively easy to mod are:

  • Firmware
  • XP-sized 3V emitters
  • Optics

… and these are all pretty easy to change already.

Hmm… Let me think… To modd it of course

Some guys like to do it on their way

any news about the D1S? what led will it have? XPL-HI or XHP35 HI?
