Official specifications:

  • Capacity: 1000mAh

  • Voltage: 3.7V

  • Continuous discharge current: 10A

  • Pulse discharge current: 15A

  • Diameter: 18.50 (+/-0.2)mm

  • Length: 50.20 (+/-0.2)mm




A high current 18500 cell.











This is very nice discharge curves with good tracking and the cell can deliver 15A.



















I did mostly run the cell empty during this test, it can deliver a lot of current, but not for long.



Conclusion

Good high current performance, capacity as expected in a high current cell.
This is a good cell.

You have a typo under your first table, where you describe it as a “high current 18650 cell”.

It is fixed now.

And thank you for the notification, it might be cumbersome but I like getting feedback and correction of bugs/typos, for me it is a very important, I know that I often type too fast without checking what I write.

Using your comparator, this cell appears to perform almost identical to the 2014 lila version, not much happened since then :frowning:

Hopefully one of these days Aspire will develop a high current high capacity 18500.
