[GB ended,discussion only] CRI > 80+ NICHIA 2000K-6500K [E21A/219B/219C/319A/144A/757GT-F1(Optisolis)]

Sounds very familiar

A round of thanks to our resident ‘Nichia Candyman’, for finally managing to wrestle the luminous jewels from their misguided path.

Now that we can play again, fantasies abound.
Who has reflowed 219b sw40 and sw45 leds together in a multi emitter light?
The CRI may take a hit, but something between, or born from these two flavors could be interesting.

I am fairly sure that was unintended, maybe some Windows :-) copy & paste. The URL name sounds misleading, though.

On a different matter, the page is overly zoomed in. Browsing with my hacked dpi device (effective screen size: 6⅔") everything is BIG, MASSIVE… LUDICROUS. It is not really a problem for me because, as an Android rooted user, I can adjust my screen dpi and resolution fully on the fly and fix it; for the rest it can be an issue. Just my opinion, of course.

I use template to create the listing hence the “copy prefix”
I tested the website using feedbacks from my friends, none of them reported your issue. But will ask them again. Anyone here experience the same problem?

Let me explain, Clemence. It seems to me your webpage is coded to be served in two different formats: mobile and desktop. The mobile version of the site is, in my opinion, poorly implemented. Look at these screenshots, native resolution 720×1280 and 1280×720, 221dpi; this is an unusually low dpi value I do use because of my excellent close range visual acuity and typist fingers; makes the web think my screen is 6⅔" when it actually is just 4½". Despite this, take a look (all screens where completely zoomed out, where applicable):

DESKTOP version screenshots. These have been captured at native resolution, but first I switched to 1080×1920/1920×1080, 221dpi, to be served the stuff the way I love it to see:

MASSIVE difference.

Cheers

Hmm? The website experience was superb while I browsed and purchased some lovely nichias:)

This is strange Barkuti,
I re-checked it again and it’s working OK on mobile phones and tablets. Maybe the website editor doesn’t recognize all mobile screen combo. Will try it on my neighbor’s older phone today. Thanks for the input BTW :+1:

Yes, I have and it is a thing of beauty! 1 4000k and 2 4500k.

Thanks for the confirmation……seems they were made for each other.

Try to imagine the noob discovering HiCri, this forum, and subsequently…….our Nichia Guru’s new site.

Surfing over to scarf up a couple of different flavors of HiCri 219b 9080, they are left with the impression it is just that easy.

at the moment of this posting there remain….

144 x 219b sw40 9080 Nichias (4000K.)

…and

8 x 219b sw45 9080 Nichias (4500K.)
Nichias
certainly not for long after this is posted…

Both counts down by another 3 each… May not see these again! Thanks for making this happen.

Matt

I had to pick up some more when I realized I may never have the chance to grab them again. Would be awesome if the nichias were more readily available.

LED received, thank you clemence.

Looks like the cardboard crushed. Luckily I packed them in a PVC cable sleeve.
Enjoy!

Hi, Clemence!

Do you know if Nichia make a 219B or 219C in 5000K R9080? I have 219Bs in R9050, but I would love to try an R9080 version…

AFAIK, so far only 144A, E17A, and E21A comes in 5000K R9080.
219BT-V1 R9080 only available in 2700K-4500K

Update 170809:
I forget who asked me about asking Nichia for 219C sm5070e samples? So I put the answer from my Nichia rep. here:
“We can only support a one time purchase of NVSW219CT Ra9050 sm5070e due to very small yield. And we can’t guarantee future availability”
