ENEDED

Slightly familiar, do you think a Harley Quinn board is going to fit in there?

Narsil and ramping would be awesome in this light.

do a Narsil board for this light
maybe with some of those new 12V CC chips for the middle modes

12V CC chips? I've been off the grid for a while...

Hi,

Interested.
Depending of the GBprice.

Interested depending of the price… :money_mouth_face:

Latest specs from Bangood, due in stock August 25.

It could use one more mode, the run times make it look like its going to thermally throttle at the third level pretty quickly. The mode levels seem weird so maybe these are still preproduction numbers.

Alright, I am jumping on this ship as well. INTERESTED in price please!

Thank you!

Based on the comments, seems like GB price will be very competitive.

SO, please add me for +1 on the list. Thank you!

What happened with this fantastic moonlight of less than 10 lumens?
If you look at the lumens for the Nichia one they screwed up as some values are lower others higher

Also why dont they fix the Sumsang spelling error?

I don’t know how good those specs are, it looks like someone was having a hard time reading somebody else’s handwriting.

The mode level progression for the nichia is really weird, it would be nice if there was another level squeezed in there around 2500 lumens. Moon might be tricky getting all the led’s to turn on across a production run, maybe they just said screw it.

If someone wanted to change out the driver board and do a fet plus setup, how hard would that be?

Is the driver cavity reasonably deep and is the driver retainer somewhat normal?

Are there many boards out there that have the right power connection layout to match the battery carrier?

“Sumsang” vs “sumsung”, LOL, 2 famous brands for 18650 :person_facepalming:

Banggood has expressed their concern on unsealed light. They afraid emitters or optics can get damaged if owners try to dismantle the light themselves. What is your view?

I agree with them at multi-emitters light
The tir len can easily damage the led
And there is nothing much to mod on this light, it already reaches its limit, pushing it further will generate a lot of heat

I would do it like the Klarus G35 with very little locktite on the bezel
enough to prevent from getting it loose accidently, but not so much that you have to heat up the whole head to 200°C to get it loose

I modified a 2S SRK design with the measurements I took in my sample
I am very confident it will fit, but no gurantees

I’d rather my light be easier to get into, but I understand minimizing their risk by sealing it, however, BLFers don’t strike me as the type to intentionally sabatoge and ask for refunds. I’m happy either way if the price is right and the light is as-advertised.
