I would do it like the Klarus G35 with very little locktite on the bezel
enough to prevent from getting it loose accidently, but not so much that you have to heat up the whole head to 200°C to get it loose
I modified a 2S SRK design with the measurements I took in my sample
I am very confident it will fit, but no gurantees
I’d rather my light be easier to get into, but I understand minimizing their risk by sealing it, however, BLFers don’t strike me as the type to intentionally sabatoge and ask for refunds. I’m happy either way if the price is right and the light is as-advertised.
Of course not, but many have accidentally dedomed the emitters on lights such as the DQG 7x xp-g2 which uses a similar design.
Many BLFers, and even regular folk, automatically assume flashlights can be taken apart without ruining them. Most of the time they are right, but certain lights are just too easy to damage.
It’s probably for the best if they use a little blue loctite on the bezel and/or a warning label on the lens to not unscrew the bezel. Even add a warning in the literature against it and that dedomed emitters won’t be covered under warranty.
Bad news to seal it up, for botg maintenance and modding. Don't mind having to apply some force to open it, but not extreme sealing/gluing. It's a no-go for me if it's sealed up too tight using our typical methods.
We need to count how many people prefer their light without glue.

Can't BangGood offer an unglued version for BLF members only?

Members who prefer not to seal the bezel.

The easier solution for all parties, is to request manufacturer to apply only small amount of thread locker. Hopefully one can open with 3-4 pound of force?
