Need a much larger test to get accurate results. Out of a ton of orders, there is no clear winner. Sometimes a vendor will get it here in a week or so and other times that same vendor will take 6 or 8 weeks. Order and forget until it shows up, write down the order dates and every week or so check that it is not getting to the paypal deadline.
I recently placed an order on GB, 6 items and the weight was 1.2Kg. The only shipping options were free 15-25 days and $7.54 via sweden post, crazy thing is that the paid shipping method says 15-30 days.
I chose free shipping at the time, but later realized if I removed one specific item from the cart the priority line option shows up. Already contacted GB to cancel that item and ship the rest via priority lineā¦
Update on this. It took 14 days. The package spent quite a number of days sitting somewhere in Cali, in customs possibly, waiting to be handed over to FedEx.
thanks, that one finds my gearbest order from Sept 14, and says the package in the USA since Sept 25 (11 days after I ordered), but as of today, another 12 days later, there is no record at Fedex nor USPS of the package
none of the other tracking sites can find my order,
nor does the gearbest order tracking work, it says: Sorry, your shipping information has not updated yet!
So far it has been 23 days and no Joy
my last Gearbest order took 21 days to my door
my last Banggood order took 14 days to my door
Gearbest is sloooow, and not my first choice, if I can find the item on Banggood, I will buy there first
shipped with the free standard registeredā¦ not sure whats going on if i knew this crazy slow i would glady paid for the slighty expensive shipping, the 7-25 days on free is clearly a jokeā¦
also have an order from gearbest a nitecore tip that was shipped also with standard i think, shall be interesting if that gets here first.
2017-10-06 11:05:15Item is ready for transport
But gearbest so far has never let me down, usually within 2 weeks or so i have always got my stuff. Compared to banggood that might be my first and only order.
Between Sept. 22 and Sept. 30, I placed 3 orders each with Banggood (22nd, 26th, and the 27th) and Gearbest (23rd, 27th, and 30th).
The Banggood orders (totals came to $37, $19, and $59) all included free shipping, reported as shipped in the next day, and the tracking numbers worked. All 3 packages are currently inside the U.S. & on track to be delivered in under 20 days.
The Gearbest orders (totals came to $14, $43, and $18) had shipping fees of $2 - $5, took 5-6 days to report as shipped, and all the tracking numbers simply report back as āpackage info sent to FedEx/UPSā, with 17track, Package Radar, and Aftership all failing to find the current location of the packages. So I have no idea when these packages are due to arrive, but I doubt it is anytime soon, as I would think FedEx and UPS would give more information if they were in the country.
Me too... I always get one. It is a bit challenging to use at first.
They ship here in the US FedEx Smart Post. The tracking number will be at the bottom of the invoice page. Go to FedEx to track and until it lands in the US it will say label created. It woll also have a reference number at the bottom of the FedEx tracking. Take that number and got to 17track and enter it. That will track it the whole way.
Once FedEx gets it they deliver it to your local post office and USPS makes final delivery.
Out of over probably 40 or 50 transactions Ithey average 13 days. Only 1 has ever gone past 14 days and that is the Q8 which according to tracking in at the Airport about to leave Hong Kong...
Yeah, I got 3 FedEx packages seemingly stuck at āLabel createdā for a coupla weeks.
Timewise, I havenāt seen all that much difference between āuntrackedā (Azerbaijan Post) and tracked (various). A little over 3wks for untracked, just about 3wks for tracked. Seems to be a few days difference at most.
For AzPost, they go pretty quickly until ātransit center, left hand navigationā (wtf??), then a flurry of messages, then forever stuck in āUS, the transfer of customsā. When it finally shakes loose, itās another few days ātil it wends its way through the USPS.
What bugs me is that the USPS changed all their email alerts Now itās only āpackage receivedā and then boom, a week later, ādeliveredā. Wtf?? I used to get all the various status messages, in Chicago ISC, in New York ISC, in Brooklyn Distribution Center, in Queens Distribution Center, in Flushing, in transit to the post office, in the post office, out for delivery, delivered. And all the other steps in-between (incl. arrived at, departed, for each one, etc.).
Iām hitting the USPS site several times per day for each package, just to see the status. Was much nicer to just see the status messages roll into my inbox. So much for āsimplifyingā thingsā¦
Anyway, never ordered anything from BG yet, but GB seems to be kinda consistent, or at least the carriers do.
Iām just waiting for about a dozen things to shake loose from customsā¦ :zipper_mouth_face:
Ordered a light from Gearbest on Sept 10, it arrived on Oct 10ā¦ 30 days
tracking worked until it reached US Customs on Sept 25. 15 days from order till US arrival at customs
No other trackingā¦ zero USA trackingā¦ 15 days from arrival in US Customs until delivered to California.
slowest order Ive had yet, from any vendor. But it got here
