No, only button top apparently:

One thing is for sure, you cannot use flat top in the new battery carrier. There will be plastic insulators on the anode (+) ends to prevent loading batteries in reserved direction. I suspect you can remove them but you will risk damaging the batteries or even light if you make a mistake for the polarity.

Wait, that says Mateminco which is also the name on the pcb inside the Astrolux model. Is this light made by Mateminco? Are they the same as Astrolux?

Once in production the Astrolux version should be the better one due to all the improvements. Right?

The Astrolux preproduction price is $15 more than the MT18. I assume it’s because it’s upgraded or is better tested at the factory. Or maybe higher quality control.
