Tesla Model 3 - Are you buying?

Looks like there will be no on the no option.
This poll should be in the commercial sellers section.

I see that Bort hasn’t learned anything since the last poll didn’t have a “No” option :person_facepalming:

I have little need for a sedan. I could go for a full size AWD panel van though.

No.

None of the above.

Nope! EV are still in their infancy… Mostly battery recharge time and capacity

Once the infrastructure of charging spots is built up I’d bet that they will increase sales in a very big way.

Prius has been around for 20 years and is very common. Back in the late ’90s there was some skepticism about how they would do but they got over the hump and other companies have followed suit with similar cars.

Once chargers get set up in most major cities I’d bet that a number of other companies will release their own cars. It’s not cheap striking out on your own, but I’m glad Musk is pushing the envelope.

To tell the truth I’m more excited about his home battery setups than a car. Cars depreciate so quickly and wear out. A home setup with efficient solar panels will be very attractive to many homeowners and might well make a house more valuable.

Until I can carry 10, 4x8 sheets of plywood, tow my boat, or cargo trailer with a Tesla, then no. My wife has a Honda Pilot, and even that’s too small

No Tesla for me. I’d want a plug-in hybrid, so I could recharge from the mains, or generate power from petrol if I had to. Bonus points if it has a solar panel on the roof

Yes, as soon as they bring out the one you can recharge for another 600 miles of range in 1 minute and 40 second version, likely called the tesla 3 petrol model

Mine should arrive in Q1 2018

no thanks

[X] Never

I will never buy an electric car. Period.

You will when every car is electric

I’m 65. That will never happen in my lifetime.

It will if you live a couple more decades

I can’t wait for it to happen. I’m about to start buying parts for my second electric bicycle. The first one had a decent amount of power, but now I want to build something that’s incredibly indecent.

Yes, I would like one someday if they keep this up

No, we have the Nissan Leaf for pool cars at work and the range is only 140 km or 87.5 miles.
Charging could take up to 2 hours.

That is why I just bought a hybrid…2017 Lexus ES300h…40 miles/gal! Way better than my 4 banger 2005 Honda Civic.
