Ah and make sure it is the right amount, somebody paid $1496 to Neal, it is refunded of course, the PayPal fields to fill in are not the clearest so please double check before clicking ahead Wink

Crap I also did forget the phone number.

I guess they put it on the package, so if something doesn’t go as it should the post office can call you.

The Miller, things are going pretty fast, so maybe it’s time to open and official thread for GT modding. Big Smile
Xhp 70.2, xp-g2 or oslon black flat for those who don’t care about lumens but just think in throw. Also driver options and change battery configuration from 4s1p to 1s4p.

Also, is there any possibility to get as an extra a shorty tube when the flashlights are send?

Thanks.

Which email do you want me to send, the one I use for BLF or the one I use for Paypal?

Probably best to use the email you use for PayPal, it could be that LT needs to send an invoice to it for the remainder.

No time to open a GT modding thread today, but it will take some time before people receive their GTs Big Smile

Could it be possible to have LT send a spare bare XHP70.2 copper MPCB for those of us that want to mod with our favorite XHP70.2 led? I Will gladly pay for any reasonable extra cost…

I know you said you would not change the lists now but i think its best to say it anyway.

You can remove/ignore me on the list.
Its a fun light but its waaay to much for any use i can think of.

As you are below the magical 555, you can just ignore the pm and don’t pay. You will automatically be ‘removed’ so that the next person on the list can buy a GT.

If I fill up the name/address form in the $14 pm, but send the light NOT to me but to a friend, should I write NOT my address but my friend’s address in the pm, and/or in the Paypal note?

Payment sent,
I put # 403 in the note because that’s where I am in the original list, the message said I was # 355 which I guess is just a mixup of some sort?

You’ve sent $14.60

just noticed I only sent 14.60, SO I JUST SENT THE OTHER 40 CENTS! SORRY FOR THE SCREW UP.

thanks,
John S /(GIGBYT)

The Miller I wouldn’t presume to tell you guys how to run this whole thing but the sheer number of people confused by the number differences between the interest list and the pm is baffling to me, and has to be adding tremendously to the work you guys have to do to double-check everything on the back end. I think I’d take that interest list down for now, or redact out the numbers or something, to avoid even more people sending you the wrong number in their payment. Or at least put a note above the list in the first post begging people not to change their reference number in the PM, no matter what this list may say.

And for all those coming along who are confused, stop over-thinking it. You got a PM with a number in it. That number came straight from whatever list the organizers are working with on the back-end. That’s your reference number for Neal to know you by. Nothing else matters, cause its not like the number is going to be lasered onto your light or anything.

I’ve been reading and following all this mess from the beginning, amazing it actually gets done amongst all the confusion!

I’m also finding, to my surprise! , that my wife has a lot of family here! (I can give my wife a few very basic instructions to do something, and she will invariably do it differently than requested. IE: Will you please put this candle on the left hand corner of the coffee table, on a leather coaster? Sure. Says she. Then I go find the candle in the middle of the table, on top of a stack of magazines. She likes to edit things, do it her way, or simply zoom-zooms and doesn’t pay close attention.) LOL

Any International shipment requires a phone number on the address label. This is a big thing to them, all started with all the terrorist stuff. But in the end, if the carrier can’t find your address or if something happened to the label, they can call and confirm where to send the item.

As usual, when you want something sent to you it’s normal to list your name and address so it’s sure to arrive where you want it. Simple everyday mail order.

Like several have said, calm down, make sure to read the instructions on the PM that was sent, and follow the instructions. If they sent an PM to Santa Claus with number 123 on the list, then Santa Claus should order number 123 on the list, that’s what they’ll be expecting and their list is the one that matters. The name and number will match, as they sent that instruction. Please avoid confusion by taking the time to clearly read the instruction and follow it through.

Remember, Almost all of us here at BLF that would order on this group buy are NOT CHINESE! We all speak different languages and Neal speaks Chinese, he has to sort it all out through translation so it’s far easier if the basic standards are followed, as requested.

No hurry, you’ve got 5 days to respond…. if you don’t want the light then after 5 days your number will be reassigned, then they’ll have 5 days to respond… see how that quickly turns into a couple of weeks on the pre-order status? No hurry. No worry.

If someone knows they will be out of town during this time frame, perhaps they could ask a friend to monitor this PM system for them and make that initial payment so they don’t lose the 5 day slot…

Good Luck!

Even that is not necessary, since you can use PayPal on your cellphone.

Yokiamy, shhhhhhh! I just got my first smart phone, Lord knows I don’t need help spending money even while away from home! Facepalm

But yes, it’s really cool all the things one can do with a smart phone. Like carrying your PC around in your pocket.
