This. This is AWESOME. I always felt and said that the old Tool felt like an undersized AA light, and we needed a bigger battery to make up for the short runtimes. Now we have this.
Still, I’m gonna rein in my impulses, wait for the first few to go around and feedback to pop up. Once my finances stabilise and whatever teething pains this model has are straightened out, I’ll make a note of getting the CRI version

Nice with a few but’s, main one is output and on max on an Eneloop, and the efficiency on all modes.

I do need a light for work and this one would be perfect. Depending on the specs.

if it available with NW tint option…
If the modes are the exact same as the AAA Tool and the runtimes are comparable to the Thrunite T10’s, it’ll be a winner IMO.
Even better: if I know Lumintop, they’ll come out with a Nichia option.

Will it come with both short and long caps? 14500 li-ion compatibility is a definite plus.

I’d be interested in a high CRI version, subject to specs and price.
I need a 10 to 20 lumen mode in there somewhere, and 5000K 90+ CRI Nichia 219B is my emitter sweet spot.
