If you could please look out for SST-40's in higher bins, and lower temps, like 4000K-5000K. I got in 3 of your SST-40's - will be testing them soon! Everyone who has used them got good results.
Yes! I would like to see the higher bin SST40’s also! :+1:
I would like to also request Higher Bin XHP35’s E4+ and Colder Tints 75000-8000k if possible please! I have purchased many of the E2-1A’s HD’s for de-doming, best tint so far 5200-5000k, no yellow, a very nice neutral white. Would like to shoot for something around 6000-5700k de-domed.
In the PDF under the flux bins it says “Forward Voltage Binning Structure”, and it ranges from 2.5 to 3.3 Volts (!).
But i see now it also says: “Individual voltage bins are not orderable”.
So never mind then… :zipper_mouth_face:
Just have to hope to get a good one. The VJ bin KD has is pretty good, with VH being the only one better. A higher flux bin with a lower voltage bin will be more efficient.
Ohhh - yes, forgot bout those specs. KD's SST-40's are marked as VJ, so should be 2.7V-2.9V, which is pretty low, and explains the high amps we can get from them. Yes, it's certainly something that is nice to know up front what that rating is when we order them from other sources. Fortunately, KD has been pretty good with giving us the details on bin, tints, manu part #'s, etc.
