Indeed, there is no need for all the hate towards CPF everyone.
They may be childish and money hungry but then so are a lot of people I know.
I posted a thread, it got closed. I am not surprised by this after all that I have heard about CPF. It is their site, they can do what they want with it. It is also my right not use CPF.
At least they didn’t Ban me, I tend to get annoyed by that.
Also 100% agree that the personal Greta talk is way overboard.
Talking about professional issues in how she runs her own site, whatever, not a fan of it as she can do whatever the heck she wants with her own site but it can be forgiven.

I was about to say the exact same thing. Its one thing to criticize or make fun of the way somebody runs things, its another thing entirely to belittle them as a person.
Anyways, on another tangent entirely, Any rough estimates when the GT will be ready to start shipping? In time for Christmas 2017? Early 2018?
Seeing the speed things are going at, I would suspect it will be here before Christmas. After, lumintop wants the GT made before they get into their high season, right?
We have not had any updates from lumintop or Neal in a little while with all the payment craziness. So it is impossible to give any estimates for shipping dates at this point.
The new pm’s are just for the people who still need to pay their down payments correct? Just asking because I never got one and I sure do not want to miss any needed to get my own ” Giggles” I love that name!
CPF is where I first discovered that I was not the only flashlight obsessed guy out there. That being said, the “rules” get a little crazy sometimes. I understand the concept of keeping sales threads in a separate place, but come on, this was a flashlight review and people who read it were interested in getting one. It is fine line between trying to help out a fellow addict out by pointing them in the right direction and a true sales thread. In this case I side with helping out a fellow flashlight enthusiast.
Either way we need to remember that CPF members have issues with the rules also. The members are good guys, it is the rules and those who enforce them so vigorously that tend to rub us the wrong way sometimes.
Am I on the paid list yet? I replied right when I got the PM, I then replied again later when my first reply got lost somehow and then I paid the $14.96 again. I really hope I get in on the first 555 lights.
You are one of the guys that paved the way for custom throwers. I still think you and your brother's threads on all the posted #'s and comparative beamshots at properly measured distances set down standards, and no one since has done anything that can compare with or come close to.
Now that there are less new payments coming in I have asked Neal for an updated sheet and him go through the PMs to make sure it is all right.
When I get it, a new list of people paid will be posted up
And apart from a small buffer for error correction the third and last round of PMs for $111 (being some people who asked for a second) goes out.
I have also asked Neal if he can make Lumintop create a new AliExpress entry for the down payment of the $150 lights
