WTB: Manker U11 Dead or Alive!

Hello friends! Anyone know where I can get the best deal on the U11? Fast tech has it for $37 but Ild like to do better than that.

Or, anyone have one sitting around collecting dust? Assuming it is in new condition(no cosmetic issues) I’ll pay $30 working or $25 non-working shipped.

i’ve got one that i fixed the switch on… crudely, as the button cover would not glue back and i could not disassemble the light to put it under the ring it popped out of…

it does work fine
i do not trust my fix long term though

i have some paint on it too

I do know Fasttech occasionally (about twice a year?) has a 20% off promo. You could wait for that.

Thanks. Ild prefer it to be able to be restored to a “new” condition. So I can fix any internal problems, like the if the switch were to quit working, but not if the switch boot is having trouble. Also means no paint. I know… I’m being picky while looking for a deal;)

This may be the best solution. It means I may have to wait a bit but that’s ok. 20% off of $37 wouldn’t be too bad for a new light.

just be advised that this light has the electronics glued in
nothing can be replaced that i can see

that button cover came off, out of nowhere

it led to several other real or potential problems

Hmm? I’ve modded two of them thus far without problems. It’s been over a year ago now though. Maybe something changed?

removed LED
tried unscrewing the electronics thingy from that end, no dice, it was stuck as far as what i could do

other end - i think there is no unscrew option from that end

all i know is i could not get it loose

whether it is really glued or not, i would have had to get it loose to know

If I remember right, there is a ring that holds in the pill and unscrews. The pill can then be pushed out from the battery tube. I don’t remember any glue so maybe yours was just extra tight?

have to re check
it was such a pain just getting the lens and led out
i dropped it and bent the lens ring and outer shell
had to cut a slot in the lens ring just to turn it
may not come back out without more saw slots
barely got it go to back down below the outer housing edge

ok i checked
unscrewed the ring in front of the pill
pushing it out from the battery side was still impossible

i didn;t want to get out the hammer so i put it back together
