Tried to buy a KIDY K5 Cree XHP50.2 from the LHT flashlight store on aliexpress “(link to the flashlight)”:Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com but received a message that they was not in stock and he offered the new K5s instead with stainless steel bezel.
Any pro and cons vs the K5 model?
Ofcourse it looks alot worse then the K5 model and should be alot heavier.
I cant find the flashlight in his store or on a Google search so i can’t tell the specs for it.
The only thing the seller wrote that the K5s is the upgrade model with stainless steel bezel with integrated head for better heat dissipation and he sent these pictures.

The LHT flashlight store is the Aliexpress store of Kaidomain.com and is regarded here as a reliable seller that has a custom line of budget flashlights of decent quality that are not top of the line but well worth the money. What is especially nice is that they use the most modern leds and use pretty nice drivers.
If they offer an upgraded model I would certainly believe them. Personally I like the new model with SS bezel and I do not think that it adds a lot to the weight.

Been reading this forum for a month now (as much as i can with 2 small kids needing attention all the time) so i maybe should have know that info…
But its so much info to take in so my brain must have sorted some info out.
My flashlight started for some 10-15 years ago but the intrest went Cold for like 10 years ago.
Half year ago my house had a fire and all my flashlights was just crap and i needed new ones now.
Until this year i always thought you just hook the led up to the battery and you have light (my electronic skill sucks), and the top led was Cree XML T6.
Then i found this forum and realised that you could push the led more by modding the driver or swap the driver out for a more high performance one.
So right now the intrest is really hot. Buying alot of flashlights this last month waiting to be delivered that i can try modding.
Ofcourse i start with a really cheap one.
