I buy this stuff at €0.42 a pop when not on sale, which is about ≈$0.50 right now. Really tasty for the price imho.
Rival supermarkets have aggressively copied the recipe (off brand strong tasty beer at a fair price).

yeah! one of my favorites (the 6 is richer in flavor, the amount of grains, the yeast, the hops and the water is the same for 6 8 and 10. Only difference is the 8 and 10 get more sugar added to get the desired alcohol level.)
6 used to be hard to find in the stores near me in Amsterdam, but they have it here in France all the time.

Can't start the day without it 
Today I’m drinking my staple, Budweiser. Beautiful, September afternoon here on the Left Coast of Michigan. Watching the leaves change colors, before my eyes. I have a couple of local beers I enjoy, but will need to wait till later. They have kind of a early 70’s effect on me 
Having a little fire, and get together, with some friends, tonight. I have a few drinks in store. One in remembrance, of a good friend of mine, who dubbed it a stinger. Top Shelf Vodka, with a touch of color. Smooth, but make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Damn, I miss that guy. The other is a nice bottle of ice cold Crown Royal. My intention, is to pass it around the fire. My Hillbilly friends, seem to enjoy that. 
All while I impatiently wait for my Q8
