Lii 500 dying...

When I put a battery in slot 4, it sits and reboots. When I use slots 1-3 it shows the voltage going up like mad and terminates with almost nothing added to the battery. Now I have to figure out what to replace it with…

I’d get another Lii 500. Defect failures happen even with expensive chargers. It’s the luck of the draw I say. Mine has been going strong for a year now. No problems at all. It’s inexpensive and has a lot of features. Buy one without a power supply since you already have one

+1

this is new:

I just ordered another Lii500 direct from their Ali store. I like these a lot. I did see the new one from Illumin, little pricey and no HKJ review yet. Like the charge rate on it!

just got mine a few days ago nice charger, i hope mine will last longer  the price without power supply is so cheap.

It looks good, but it’s twice the price of the Lii500 and it hasn’t been tested yet by HJK. It could end up being just mediocre.

I use it having put a 220V fan below it.So,there is not overheating. Also,I have change the power supply to a new, stronger one.

one of a friends lii500 did the reboot thing.
plugging it into my 12v solar power system it worked perfectly.
the adapter had vented caps.
capxon(crapxon)
the whateverfire of the capacitor world.
the case was tall enough for rubycon zl 1200@16.
they will outlast anything they are put in.
so if your charger acts crazy try it on external 12v.

the stock power supply is cheap and nasty anyway.
no sense paying for one.

As I have already written,I have put another power supply after reading a post in CPF.It is bought from Amazon.co.uk and it is as follows.

“12v Flypower switching adapter model ps361bcak3000b power supply cable adaptor
Sold by CableRite. £12.99 .
You can search CPF for the above post.
