MT02. 70 kcd is from a review
If I knew the real number, I would consider MT01 instead….and probably get MT02 anyway. But I would be more satisfied with it.
I would like to purchase a SMO reflector separately for my MT07 with OP reflector.

Suggestion: improve your spring soldering. Many people, including myself on my MT02, had springs fall off very early on.
If you upgrade the MT07 to XHP70.2, then it makes sense to upgrade MT03 to XHP70.2 as well? People might be hesitant to purchase MT03, worrying it will be updated to XHP70.2 soon as well.
can we buy SMO for MT07?
For customers that bought your earlier versions and can prove it, can you offer a nice discount on the new versions of the same models?
I really like the looks and general design of your lights, but I quit using my MT03 and MT07 (first version, both) due to parasitic drain (ruined a nice set of 30Q's) and mushy buttons.
I really like your brand and your lights, you guys keep up with the latest styles, but unfortunately I stopped purchasing your lights when you guys removed turbo from the mode sequence. I was able to turn the light off on turbo so that the next time I turn the light on, it will be on the highest mode…turbo.
Now, all your new lights require a double click. And I think, it’s requires another another double click to get to max.
The double click is nice to have, for when I have the light on medium , and want quick access to turbo. But, to require that from off is a pain.
Please put turbo back in the mode sequence and I’m sure you’ll have more buyers.
The problem fixed already, all springs are soldered by 2-3 solder joints to enhance the stability.
MT03 is a flood light. We have no plan to upgrade it to XHP70.2. So MT03 will still have XHP70 version. and the beam color of MT03 XHP70 is nicer.
If I order an MT03 will I get the updated version?

Can I get a replacement driver for my MT01? Can you stop ignoring my emails please and let me know whats going on with the replacement driver that you promised? It would be nice to have a working flashlight instead of a $50 paperweight.
I want a light with good active cooling system, Its possible to make some powerful flooder with this?
It’s unfortunate there is no neutral white MT02 available. Also, the Haikelite web site is now showing a suspending hosting account.
Got my MT02. Some places for improvement:
- improve battery choice description, the light needs button top. You don’t mention it, BangGood say straight that flat tops are supported
- I really dislike the UI:
- With long waits (especially during mode change) it feels really sluggish
- There’s no way to reduce brightness w/out destroying night vision by going through high
- The low mode is much higher than I’d like
- I prefer ramping to modes
- I suggest that you rip it off and replace with some open source BLF firmware. A small 1-time cost of porting, yet huge improvement in user experience.
- It may be just my light, but machining of battery tube interior is the worst that I’ve seen so far. Works OK as there’s nothing sharp in it, it just looks cheaper than the $5 lights I’ve seen so far.
- I believe a XHP35 HI LED would be a better choice. Now it just doesn’t throw as far as I’d like….though, frankly, I expected so since I learned intensity measurements from a review.

My first Haikelite lights I bought are two MT02. First one was dead on arrival, and the second one works, but the low voltage protection kicks in at 3.7V, which is way too early.
The MT02 is rated at 800m throw, which means 160k lux. In reality it’s about 60~70k lux. This is just a no go.
I really like Haikelite in terms of looks and specs, but I (still) have my doubts when it comes to reliability of the driver. I’m interested in the silver MT03, but I don’t want similar problems I have with my MT02. I recently got the Atrolux MF01, which is comparable to MT03, and it is so good that I wonder why I’m considering the MT03 at all. I recently also read about a member who received the MT03 not too long ago, and there were several QC issues that reminded me of the first group buy a year ago… I hope you can make improvements, because I do like Haikelite lights a lot.

I was in similar situation, it was tempting to get another MT03 especially the XHP70.2 version but i am now going toward a second MF01 maybe XPG version this time instead of MT03 i do like the better throw that the TIR offers on MF01 it even uses 90 CRI Nichias. :+1:

I recently bought an SC01. As has been described by one or two others, I encountered a switch/driver issue which requires multiple button presses for the light to turn on. Within a few days of purchase, I emailed Haikelite, and they ignored my email. I sent a follow up, which they eventually responded to but did not offer any remedy (they did ask if I would be technically able to replace the driver, but did not actually offer to send me one). Follow up emails were also not responded to. I cannot think of any reason why I would buy a Haikelite product in the future, since the company does not seem interested in resolving customer issues and is horrible about responding to email. I sent you a PM with more detail.
