This is a low capacity 18650 cell that can handle very high current.

Very nice box for the batteries, especially if you want to carry spare batteries. The one I got include a paper with the above specifications.

This is a good looking discharge chart, the cells tracks perfectly and capacity is nearly constant up to (and probably a bit above) 30A

The battery gets warm at 30A, but could handle more current before the temperature would be a problem.

Conclusion

For people that want to play with high current, i.e. 20A, 30A or more this looks like a very interesting cell. But the price is a fairly low capacity.

The batteries was supplied by Vapcell for review.

Compare to 18650 and other batteries

Wow, that packs a powerful punch. Even less voltage sag than on the VTC5A in the beginning stages of discharge from 10A up.

Wow. Great high-current performance. 30A barely reached 35*C

It appears to me that this chemistry is near identical to the Samsung 30T 21700; just at 2/3 the capacity, which is proportionate to the volume difference between the two formats.

Be careful with reading my temperature scale, it is temperature increase not absolute temperature.
And the temperature do increase 42°C degrees after I stop the discharge (The vertical line at the end).

Compared to many other cells it is very impressive handling of high current.

The voltage curves at high amps are really nice.

Any US retailers carrying this yet?

i know this vapcell website:

This is a really impressive battery. The capacity only starts to drop off at 60A continuous current.
At 60A continuous current it ran longer by a long way than any battery I have tested be it 18650, 26650, 20700 or 21700.
