Now we use this LED in E2L firstly. The LED is a 10w lamp, in fact it can be powered in much bigger watts. Now we still fit a 2100mA driver for 3* LG led flashlights.

Can we buy the LED to try?
EDC rotation:
Convoy S2+, 6*7135, XM-L2 3D, 10 degree TIR, PilotDog lighted tailcap.
Convoy S2+, H17F, XM-L2 4C, lighted tailcap
Zebralight SC52w-L2

The Vf is quite low, so, the regulated gonna be long, but not very efficiency
Forgot my pen
This is the new world we live in, very low Vf leds. Right in line with the Nichia leds.

I have been wanting to test LG leds for some years because they have high CRI versions with good specifications, but the availability of the latest models in small quantities has been zero, just outdated types are available on aliexpress.
Very nice to have these leds in the E2L. I may check one out, but as mattlward requested too, it would be a nice option to buy the bare led too (would like few to do a voltage/output test on).

Well I have to get this. Please don’t glue the parts!
Please sell these emitters separately if you have a supplier for them! I would love to upgrade my old E2L.
I’ve been waiting for the E2L in warm tint to come back into stock. This looks very interesting.
PS: The LED bar code says they are LMWE33390SUW which I don’t see on the data sheet above, only HU, J Uand LU.
What colour temperature does that mean please, and bin ? I guess, being “90” they are the highest CRI.
Very interested.
surely, friend.
you can leave words in my AE store.

hi,I did not think of that there are so much BLFers like this LED. Then I will make a link for the LED.

Great!
I’ll probably buy a triple board of them.
PS: by the way, could you sell 16 × 1mm copper single LED boards?
I need a couple of them.

Still looking for 5” parabolic reflector (for recoil light)
Super!!! I ordered a few of those, for testing and if they are nice I can use them!
I had already ordered a E2L with these leds.

Can’t wait for the test.
Great
Can I order the optic from you as well please, I have several torches I would like to upgrade with these.

What is this optic? Not just another Carclo? Is it better? Why should I want one?
It is the well-known Carclo 10507

I will do my best to fufill the BLFers.
Best wishes

Thanks djozz, thats what it looked like to me but I thought maybe it was something more…exotic, since folks were asking for it.
I don’t have any, and prefer a one-stop-shop
Bought 2 triple boards, but i didn’t quite catch what the color temperature is…
Is it 5000K?

hi yes. 5000k.

What about output stabilization? I cant’t find any runtime.

Has anybody received these LEDs yet and tried them out?
How good is the R9 rendering (deep red)? i think that is the first thing we need to know.
After that it would be important to know if is produces a yellow corona when used with a reflector.
The tint is of course also important.

I’m still waiting for them to arrive.
I expect a yellow corona in a reflector at least as much as an XM-L2, but i’ll be using them with TIR optics.

I have them in house but did not come round to doing anything with them. I can do an output test and visually evaluate tint (including how good the red portion is) but can not measure tint, let go R9.

Great, thanks!
Yes, I meant a visual test. With enough experience and some lights to compare it to more is not needed.

Can you try this way?

Low-cost copper pills, spacers, optics, drop-ins. Custom parts on CNC lathe: 50pcs MOQ.
I have a Lee filtersample-book, with transmission spectra charts, so yes, I could try a few things.
But to be honest, what ultimately matters is if the tint experience is good. Every led that maukka tested for tint and CRI thusfar closely matched their specifications, so to check if a 90 CRI led really is 90 CRI is not needed.
