Home Depot Deal Alerts & Discussion Thread

Iā€™d take both of those if they were available in my area. The only Ryobi tool on clearance near me is the bench grinder.

Awesome deals Dave G I would have grabbed those deals too, even though I am full up with yard tools.

I was in that second HD today that had the 22 Makitas ā€œway up highā€
I asked the guy cutting some window blinds to check the price.
They still have the 20 I left there days ago after I took 2 AND they still ā€œhave no homeā€
NOBODY knows they are there!
(I had a young kid pull the 2 for me as he walked by that night)

I know I shouldnā€™t get my hopes up for a further discount in the future and resulting credit to my card for the price lowering.
I have waited out this kind of stuff before only to see the price go back up.
Besides that Milwaukee 9.0AH pack and charger with free Sawsall, I saw this too.

They had quite a few on display, but today they were all gone.

Since the Makita combo is a discontinued item (according to the store manager) do you think the markdowns would still occur, especially since it went to a ā€œzeroā€ price $xx.00?

i would be tempted to buy up a half-dozen or so before the inventory team finds themā€¦

Is there a way to search other stores for stock? i used the pc terminal in the store and it only does 5 or 6 stores within about 50 miles, then i tried to expand the mileage with no luck, and couldnā€™t enter other stores to search either.

In the past I have tried to extend a search further out while with an associate and they tell me they canā€™t search for inventory outside their district.

It really is discontinued. Both HomeDepot.com and my Home Depot app tell me that.

This deal is a little stranger than some othersā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.

This Defiant utility light is new, not on sale, but I think worth posting. I bought one and think itā€™s well worth the $14 at least to put one in the car. It uses a 10 element cob led, cool white floodlight without artifacts, in a pretty rugged plastic case.

A friend of mine texted me with these pictures of a compressor he just picked up. He got the last one.

Here is the UPC code, cut out and check the price at your store.

I did and it came up at $123

Items that look alike but one is a penny.
The one on the left, 15TPI is a penny, the other 20TPI is $3.97

Bulb on the left is a penny.

In this stack, the frosted bulbs were a penny. There were 3 packages

These were a penny

Couple more U shank jigsaw blades

Penny

Believe it or not, these were a penny. Turn the light on once and itā€™s warm white. Flip the switch again and itā€™s daylight. Flip once again and it is a soft glow. After the light is off for more than 5 seconds, it remembers itā€™s last setting. The 1 packs are still available at $6.97

Red arrow points to the penny light.

These batteries went to the ā€œ3ā€ price just in time. I needed 2

This is another 9Ah Milwaukee deal. This time with a free ā€œSkillā€ saw. Not as good a deal as the sawall, but still less than the battery and charger combo alone. And the saw is included. The next day they were gone!

Here is a blow up off how the 15 cell, 9Ah battery pack is constructed. It is a 5S3P configuration using 15 - 3Ah cells.

Always nice when they show you what the inside looks like before you grab a screwdriver

See, printing off that UPC code for the compressor and carrying it around pays off.

1. Walked into a Home Depot and checked their price.

$48 !

2. Now to see if they have any

They had 2. But they were marked at $123.00

3. Brought them up and checked out, ā€™cause I KNOW they will scan for $48

I also printed your bar code, and tried it at my work HD, right price, couldnā€™t find any. So I went to the home decor area and got an employee to check inventory. ā€œoh thatā€™s a closeout, andā€¦ We donā€™t have any.ā€ ā€œCould you check the local stores?ā€ ā€œSure! Oh there are 15 at this one.ā€ 20 minutes later I have verified the scan price and located them on the top shelf of the other store, 20 minutes after that, a guy finally got 2 of them down for me. As I walked away I told the group of employees who were ā€˜helpingā€™ ā€œthis will ring up for 50 bucks - they are on clearance.ā€ They didnā€™t believe me and came over with thier scanners - sure enough. Those 3 guys looked like they just came downstairs on Christmas morning when I told them there where still 13 left in the store.

Thanks again for the heads up!

Alright!
Thatā€™s how itā€™s done :+1:

I found a 3rd one, same way I found my first 2. Scanned the cutout UPC code, found that the price was $48.00 and then searched the store for one. This time the price tag was still at $123.00
BTW, this was the same store I mentioned earlier than scanned at $123.00. All it took was a couple of days and the price changed.

Again with the skills to find the dealsā€¦ My local stores are picked clean long before they get that low.

HD has a so-called 3ā€™ LED shop light for ~$15, (itā€™s only 33ā€ long), i think dc mentioned them earlier, so i got one to test outā€”and it is a really bright stick of light.

It draws ~34W from the mains, puts out 3,000 lemons at 4000K with 80 CRI and comes with a 5ā€™ power cord and two 9.5 inch chains for hanging. It does get really warm on the back side, almost too much to touch or hold. But it seems to be a good value with gobs of light for not too much $.

The sku is 1002-310-056, made in ver china for www.AcuityBrands.com.

I was in a HD today and the tool guy was talking about that miter saw deal. Some guy had come in, knew where they were and the price and bought them all.
I would LOVE to find that 40V Ryobi combo set for $33!

And that is also a NICE looking light, the price is even nicer!

Here is a series of pictures I took today.
They tell a storyā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦

Did you sell them or are they Christmas gifts

Y0ou bought nine air compressors?

Only 8, the fork lift guy wanted one!

Actually, I called the guy that first found 1 of these a few days, ago and he told me to ā€œbuy them all, weā€™ll figure it out laterā€

I donā€™t know what we will do with them
weā€™ll figure it out later.
