Who still ships 18650 rechargable batteries to Australia?

In another topic a few weeks ago I mentioned that I placed an order for Sanyo NCR18650GAs (re wrapped as KDLIGHT) from Kaidomain

Well they arrived so I can say that KD ships batts to AUS

I just recently purchased a few sets of batteries from Banggood, no problems order went through and order is now saying shipped.

yesterday i saw there was some good deals on the 30Q’s so was going to purchase some more and now its saying ‘not in stock’ checked for some other batteries and same thing ‘not in stock’.

have the shipping circumstances changed again in the last few days? or as aussies are we only able to purchase 4 batteries from china? lol

Not helping with the question really, but those panasonics were pretty famous but with the newer SANYO GA's , or if you prefer longer cycle life (like the panasonics) the LG MJ1, is there still a reason to prefer the panasonics?

or maybe next year

no i tried to but this means that they don’t ship down under no more?

Just sharing what I experienced (my location: Philippines, which is quite near China, and Canton/Guangzhou, which seems to be Banggood and possibly Gearbest main offices).

Ordered some 18650s (with plastic case) from Banggood around mid-August, order didn’t arrive and upon inquiry, their shipping company has disallowed shipping 18650s (even in protective plastic cases) to the Philippines, so the order got cancelled and refunded. (This is my first time to order 18650s online, as I’m new to these types of batteries…)

I tried ordering from AliExpress early September (one order from LiitoKala store [18650s] and another order from PKCell store [18350s]). Both were shipped using Turkey Post. I’ve already received the Liitokala order, while the other PKCell order has also arrived in my country (haven’t gotten them, but they’re already at the local post office).

But now, I’d like to reorder a few more batteries. The LiitoKala store has removed Turkey Post as a shipping method (upon my inquiry, they say Turkey Post disallows batteries now, or something like that) and now they’re using their own method (“BPost”). The PKCell store in AliExpress has also removed Turkey Post as a shipping method, and now only has Fedex/DHL (with $30-50 shipping fees! whereas the Turkey Post before was only something like $3-5).

So it does seem there are fewer and fewer shipping methods nowadays…

There’s merit in what you say.

But while I own GA’s too, generally Panny-B’s are my go to battery for when I’m gifting a light that draws less than 3 amp (eg. stock C8).

Regardless of whether or not the light has LVP I still give out protected cells (gives me piece of mind)

And in keeping with the BLF mantra, I like the fact you can get 4x Panny-B’s reasonably cheap these days.

Banggood are saying they can ship and KD are shipping but three orders I’ve had with them take around two months for delivery.
My last shipment was opened by customs and let through. The batteries were shipped in cheap lights.

Sure, it wasn't a point as much as a question. You can certainly find cells that claim to be protected GA's and protected MJ1's though. I didn't think price is that different either, but I could be wrong. The pannies are still good cells.

Well banggood is up to the normal tricks,

a week or so ago they cancelled and refunded an order for 4 button top 30Q cells.

a couple of days later I tried to order again but this time the 4 pack with the plastic case.

I got a shipped notification last night,

So we will see but they seem to be on the way.

also, which protected cells do you guys get? it might be worth me grabbing some.

Much easier just to order from Aussie eBay seller supersports600. Received my button top VTC6s in 3 days!

true but triple the price from what I saw,

I didn’t need the cells in a hurry so I stuck with china.

14500’s and 26650 (for the L6) from Supersports600 (at very competitive prices)

30Qs / Panny-B’s - I choose from our BG/GB mates (not sure now but there were lots of deals going around in readiness for the Q8)

GA’s (re-wrapped) - Kaidomain

I am exploring a few other local OZ places - never know might come across someone who sells batts cheap (unlikely however for us in AU)

I’m really interested in the Imalent MRB-186P30 (protected) but the cheapest I see is Gearbest and that’s still a bit expensive at nearly $11AUD a pop though……especially when you’re eyeing off 8. If I recall, Supersports600 sells 4 for $55AU.

so are you being successful in getting the 30Qs from Banggood? i have one order that says its been shipped but cannot order any more batteries from them now.

i havent been able to get any batteries from Gearbest since i started looking at the site (to be fair its probably only been a month)

right now i cannot order batteries from BG or GB

If you want some try getting the 30Q’s in the plastic holder. they shipped a couple of days ago for me

Gearbest or Banggood? do you have a link?

thanks mate

30Q with box
Like Scorpia I bought my last set of 30Q’s with a case from Banggood in sept and got here ok
I’m on my phone and away from my computer so I can’t give you the link but checked my confirmation emails just now and got the product code for you to look up

Search for ….Banggood 30Q 1184782 … That should take you to there

There are codes for it too on here (try M4DM4X)

That’s true just about everywhere. I stocked up on 18650’s from Banggood this summer (the only place that would ship them to Canada), and now they’ve stopped shipping to Canada as well.

I guess I’ll have to stop buying 18650 lights!

Yeah, I can still buy from places that charge 2 arms and 2 legs for shipping, but that makes the batteries more expensive than the lights!

These are what i ordered

And those are the 30Q batteries I received yesterday from Banggood

Edit: I've just noticed that now they say that they can't ship them to Aus
