What are the productivity Apps that already installed on your phone?

I believe there are countless productivity / Tool Apps out here. I personally have installed more than a dozen producitivy Apps. Here are my top three tool apps.

The most frequently used one is Google Translator,as becasue I always receive multilingual emails from our users throughout the globe. so Google translator is the best fit for me. It really helps me to understand Hello, Hola or Bonjour!

The second handy tool is a ParcelTracker, As we do taobao and other different shopping platforms in China. So it is very handy to get one of these parcel tracking apps. I didn’t mention its name because it is only available in Chinese. Once you have one of these Apps, then you will realize just how much you love online shopping, huge huge expenditure! Neventheless, just enjoy being myself.

The last one is only For WORK! You can ignore it. It’s calledTencent Technology QQMail and Wechat enterprise App, you can manage/appoint meetings, Ask your leaves and instant chat/call and video with your colleagues, Just have to keep my work within touch.

Care to share yours? I probably click one of these three apps every half an hour when my computer was off. Lol…

Thank you!

I use all google apps. notes, calendar, gmail.

Another Google Fan.

Candy Crush Soda Saga

I like and use Keep and Ok Google voice activated search function.

GTO Tasks app sideloaded is still my preferred lists app. It uses Google tasks, and can have multiple accounts, so you can share a shopping list for example. Tinjasoft.

TrackChecker Mobile for all my torch (and other) purchases !

OsmAnd for all my GPS needs.

Signal for encrypted comms.

JusTalk for simple video conferencing with poor phone signal.

K-9 email.

ProtonMail for encrypted email.

DuckDuckGo browser, Searx search engine.

Prisma for photo manipulation.

FolderSync for simple file syncing across 4 cloud services.

ISS detector for fun.

JStock, TradingView and others for finance.

News - ABC (Australia), AJ English, BBC, DW, RT, Reuters, France24, MarketWatch, Google and Twitter.

and a lot of others.

That’s a lot of Apps! Thanks for your comment.

I don’t really do apps, but I do have various shortcuts to bustime.mta.info for different lines, eg, MTA Bus Time .

Haven’t played games in æons, but I had all of The Angry Birds, as well as The Bubble Witch 2.

I’m curious, why you don’t do apps?

Most times, they (probably needlessly) demand access to your contacts, location, all sorts of nosy things that I can’t fathom why an app would need.

I should’ve clarified, all the above stuff is on a 20buk tablet, not my phone. There’s nothing much on that tablet to get “compromised”.

Yes, that’s true and completely understandable. If you are protective of your personal info, then apps aren’t the choice.

I like Wunderlist for tasks

Google stuff, specially Inbox and Calendar

Dropbox, changed my life. never want to go to a time before cloud file storage and sync

and Muambator, a Brazillian parcel tracking app that does well with AB123456789CD tracking numbers, never really had the heart to change to one that support more carriers because it was my first contact with parcel tracking and I have some affection for it, plus most parcels end up with this tracking format anyways, and most of what doesn’t are smaller and cheaper non-essential packages, so I wouldn’t change because of the few cases where another app would do better

My most used productivity apps are Juice SSH for managing servers and Duolingo for learning new languages.

Thanks for your sharing! Muambator, i have used this before for item from Brazil to China. It works fine.

You are an developer too? I noticed that there are many computer guys on this forum.

Does the off button count as an app? You said productivity.

Yes, I’m working as website developer and seasonal system administrator.

Lol, !! Off button

far too many apps are just fluff and clutter.
worse yet is many seem to be good for nothing but displaying ads.
and the worst yet is chinese apps.
many are pure spyware.
just wait till you pipe these through wireshark and see who they connect to.
and everyone wonders why the first order of business with a new device for me is to root it and dump about 90% of what came installed on it.
then install adaway which is a hosts file manager.
and finally install f droid.
this is a repo of FOSS apps.

I delete 2 pre installed apps for each app i install on my phone, and i have about 5 apps on my phone that i put there, none having anything to do with productivity cuz i hate phones so dont touch it much.
O and my cheap decacore phone are pretty much clean Android, but even google / android have a lot of BS i have no need for.

In total in and outbound i have about 4 calls every week, 10 people have my number and they all know not to call me with BS that cant wait.
From 1998 to 2008 i had no phone and that was really nice, and i only have one now for family reasons i can not disregard.
