Fenix TK41 Is A Winner

Ok guys they are all on here and that's about as good as I can do without a tripod. So you can now see which thrower is the true king in the XM-L.

OK guys here is some info from Shane by email. He is sending me the hand outs with all the info in the mail. This is what Fenix is coming out with in a few weeks.

They are coming out with the LD50, 41, 22, 30 and 12 along with HL 30 and an RC10 that he says looks bad ass.

Once I get the pamphlet I will give more info. Thanks for the information on the batteries as that is what I will buy. Thanks guys. Now get those pictures posted ILF, what is the hold up.

It's either Sunwayman T40CS or Crelant 7G5. Pictures are all better foucused now. You guys take your pick who the true king of throw is.

All done buddy. It's hard to get all focused shots. But those should tell the tale. Take your pick. I'm still deciding.

I'm picking 7G5 at least from this sample of 4 lights and this distance.

At first I picked the T40CS. But then I went and took a better focused shot of the 7G5. It wins to my eyes.

I have been looking at your pictures for 10 minutes. I even copied them and put them all on a word document side by side so I could compare them all at the same time. It looks like the only real difference is the tint of each beam. If I had to rank them as I see them it would be in this order.

First place 7G5

Second place M3X

Third place TK41

Forth place T40CS

That is the way they look to me when I copied and paste them side by side. I picked the order without knowing which one was which. They are all so close at this distance I doubt there is a nickle worth of difference in real life. This is when spill, battery life, different modes, fit and finish and the way they feel in your hand comes into play.

Great job ILIKEFLASHLIGHTS. Not only for the great beam shots, but for taking the plunge and buying them all so we can gleam from your experience.

If you don't mind please tell me how you like it. Could you please tell me what charger you are using and how those Tenergy charge. Man this is a fun hobby.

And just so you guys know I got about a 1.905 amp tailcap reading from the 7G5 using 18650 Trustfire flames 2400mah batteries.

WOW - Can you make this its own post so more people can see it?

I love Fenix lights and really look fwd to what new lights they will have...LD22? Is that an updated LD20?

You bet buddy.

What I really need to do is go take a good shot from each the Catapult V3 and SR51 and add them to the list here.

Thrunite Catapult V3 and Olight SR51 has been added to the list.

The information is coming in a package from Shane and it should be here he said Wed or Thu. Can't wait to try out the TK 41 he is sending.

Here is something I just saw posted from a guy from Russia on (that other site)!

LD50, as i know will be powered by 6xAA.
LD41 - it is upgrade LD40 using XM-L and metal body.

One thing you will notice from buying from Shane is that he get's a package to you in usually 3 days.

Thanks...really looking fwd to these updates. Sounds good with the LD41, I never had interest in the LD40 due that plastic body...metal would be much nicer.

And I really hope they have a new LD20/LD10, because I was planning to order an LD10 but now I will wait to see whats up.

Got one for Christmas after reading Foy's review. I just remember this old adage "the quality remains long after the price is forgotten". But I am going crazy trying to find a holster to properly fit my light. One choice is the Maxpedition 1708G flashlight baton sheath, but I really don't like its design. Am I weird to try and find a holster to protect my Fenix? Any ideas, I'll even try to stitch one together from a kit if needed.

LD50=650L

LD41=458L

LD40=248L

LD30=257L

RC10 Rechargeable Flashlight=335L

Hey check out the brand called "Ripoff ". You can find it in a youtube video and I ordered from ebay for about 16.00 shipped. Hope this helps, I thought it looked pretty good.

Don't buy that one. It does not fit. I will look for the right model # and post it. Darn it!!!!!!!

From what I can tell it is the BL-166. When I get it I will check it out.
