Tank007 KC70 magnetic work light with 90°degrees rotation and zoom head

This light has all the features of a very decent quality all-round light.
Quite a Swiss army knife in flashlight clothes. USB, magnet, and so on.
A perfect gift to someone who thinks he (she) needs only one flashlight.
But ………

Why this size battery. A 22430? At first I thought it was a typo.
(but after some .oogling it seems not uncommon with LiFePo4 chemistry)
If you think an 18650 is too long, why not settle for an 18500 or a 26350?

Edit: if I were you, I would add a low or moonlight mode (but I am not).

Thanks for your kind suggestions. But our R&D department advises to build such a flashlight, I think there are some reasons for which they do so. And the battery is also easy to get, do you think so?

Be nice to see it closer to 1k lumen output...

Interesting. The head makes the flashlight more convenient, I think. But how much is it?

John Snow, do you work for Tank007?

Do you hate Tank007?

No, I just find it strange that most of your posts are in Tank007 threads.

The head Rofis has been doing awhile...

Not at all…

…This only goes 90 degrees:

Rofis is much better…

Yes, the head looks better than ours. But does it have a magnet in the tail?

Yes the Rofis does have magnet tail…

However the Rofis DOES NOT HAVE ZOOMING!!

I just realized something, this Tank007 KC70 is a zooming angle light! So this light it can’t really be compared to any Rofis, I’m sorry I didn’t notice it’s zooming before.

This is a great concept! I like it! :+1: I’m not aware of any other angle head zooming lights on the market?

But there’s a few things I wish for:

  • A common size Li-ion battery
  • Full swivel head like Rofis and others
  • Higher output, at least 800-1000lm
  • High-Med-Low modes instead of High-Med-Strobe (you can have the strobe separate, activate with fast double click or?)
  • More reasonable price

Also, What is the CCT of the LED on this? Cold white or Neutral white?

No the battery is not easy to get. Very hard to find.

It’s not sold at any of the usual places we buy Li-ion batteries for flashlights or vape.

That stand alone battery size will not help the sale of this light at all. I’ll bet they don’t come cheap either. That would be a sale killer to me

Good luck with your product

I am afraid you are right. Many customers tell us the battery problem. We are trying to make a new model similar to this one, which uses common battery like 18650. Thanks for your advice.

I look forward to the new model zooming angle light, besides the change to a common battery size please also consider:

  • Full swivel head like Rofis and others
  • Higher output, at least 800-1000lm
  • High-Med-Low modes instead of High-Med-Strobe (you can have the strobe separate, activate with fast double click or?)
  • Neutral tint option

Also please keep the magnet tail, it’s a great feature.

If you could do these things you may have lots of fans here!

All this is well and good, but…the price?! It’s a bit steep. Well, maybe more than a bit.

Agree, I also suggest they opt for a more reasonable price. The price is way out of line for what it is.

Not sure what they were thinking there, although I can’t think of another adjustable angle head zoomie.

Your advice is much appreciated !

No problem, I hope Tank007 does consider our suggestions. I’m looking forward to seeing the updated version of this, please post here when it becomes available!
