Well, there’s kindof a plan for one that a fellow member suggested, just don’t have the light yet. So still two unless I decide to build a triple 50.2 X6 or something.
Edit: (by the way, I’ve already done that before on the SS/Cu X6, output was ridiculous and heat was at danger levels in 15 to 20 seconds if an extension tube were used for 2 18650’s, output was lower as was heat with 2 18350’s. )
Edit II: Also forgot, that early attempt was with XHP-50’s, I didn’t remember that my Ti X6 from Rey has 3 XHP-50.2’s in it and makes ~10,000 lumens if 2 18650’s are used. Schoolgirl giggles light, this one is!
Well since this thread got completely derailed, RMM probably won’t see my original question, so I’ll post it again:
.
Hey, I just noticed you’re now selling batteries on the international version of your site.
It says that the buyer assumes responsibility for confiscated packages with more than 4 batteries, does that mean that if the order has 4 batteries or less, MTN electronics will refund it if it gets confiscated?
Or is there no problem with <=4 batteries? (I’m in canada btw)
Also, when you ship the batteries, I assume that you are forced to use ground shipping, correct?
Hey , First the service provided was great and the batteries well packed and as described.
This however is a warning to any Canadian’s going over $20 is at your own peril :person_facepalming:
I thought I could sneak 4 batteries in by keeping it close to $20 but the taxman was unimpressed. The actual takes was only $3 but the $10 handling fee was the killer! Again no issues with the vendor and the batteries arrived well packaged and in a timely manner! I just regret not buying an extra 18650 3500 Protected Cell if I knew I was going to get dinged the $10 handling fee anyways So remember kids keep it clearly under $20 or accept the fact Canada Post is going to get their beak wet!
Hey Enderman , I live in Vancouver and placed an order recently for 4 batteries so I can share my experiences.
It was ground shipping and the package was clearly labeled as Lion batteries. In total it took 9 days to get here with 3 of those days being spent at Customs. Customs held it up but did not open the package. They did however tax me and charge me a handling fee so keep that in mind that if you cross $20 CAD in Value you will probably get taxed plus $10 handling fee. Other than customs the whole experience was good and recommendable! The free cases are also sturdier than I expected!
Well I’m glad I picked some up from you djozz while they lasted. Hopefully someone else picks up the high capacity 18350 game, and everything but 18650 for that matter.
Hey Richard! I wanted to put in a request that you carry the Astrolux MF-01 in 219c and XP-G3 flavors as part of your stock when it becomes available! I think it would be a good replacement for the M43 if it’s no longer available.
