A fairly high current 18490 (Basically same as 18500) cell from Nitecore.

The two cells have different capacity and do not handle high current the same way. It looks like they can handle 10A
I got a fairly high internal resistance, because I measure it at high load.

Conclusion

The performance is fairly average for 18490/18500 high current cells, but the bad matching means they cannot be used in series.
