Table Top Tripod

Looking for suggestions for a couple of Table Top Tripods.
Thanks for any suggestions and Links.

What weight and what do you want the tripods to handle?

Edit: Budget would also help.

Best Regards,

George

I love the Pedco ‘Ultrapod II.’

There are other ‘Ultrapod’ models, but I think the ‘Ultrapod II’ is best.

Here is one with a Q8 mounted to it:

The Velcro strap allows the tripod to be secured to a railing, fence post, chair, or other object up to about 3” in diameter.

It’s strong enough to hold the Q8 at 90 degrees to the post.

I own three of them and use them with my GoPro, iPhone, and several flashlights. It won’t support my DSLR.

Check eBay for a deal on a used one. I found all three of mine there on separate occasions. Search ‘ultrapod ii’ because I’ve seen them rebranded with an REI or other logo.

FWIW, I had negative experiences with a popular brand of flexible tripod with ‘ball and socket’ legs. The ballhead was weak and the leg joints became loose.

I like that goshdogit. Not really $ wise what I was looking for.
But its managable.

I want a couple to use with the MF-01 and Q8’s.
Mainly just to display. Budget would be good.

I paid about $10 with shipping for each of my Ultrapod II tripods used on eBay.

If you’re not in a hurry, you can find a deal.

FYI, there’s one on there now for $15 with free shipping.

Gorillapod?

There are tons of Gorillapod knockoffs on Aliexpress for less than US$15.

I’ve been very happy with a $10 Xiletu from Banggood.

Giottos QU 500
topped with a Giottos MH 1304 mini ballhead.

Very nice, but not very budget.
