The one I am most anticipating arrival on is the Skilhunt H03 NW for $24.11
Wanted that headlight for a while and finally got a deal too good to pass up.
Got a $10 UT01 3D 5000K 14500/AA side SW light. Has the risk of known issues but still wanted one to work on. Worth the price if it works or still to mod/Fix up. The TIP CRI in grey for $11.11 was a whim, too good to pass up and got it in same order as the UT01. I was able to use points!! for another 30%off both lights.
After points the TIP was about $7.80 and the UT01 was $7

I had my eye on the Xiaomi Wiha 24 in 1 Precision Screwdriver Kit but failed on the good deal 2 times. Saw this other electric screwdriver before but though that’s expensive. hoping the skillhunt is not too heavy, ive only owned 3xaaa headlights with single bands, even if its too heavy makes for a great angle light for backpack strap
I had the Skilhunt in my cart, then let it pass, congratulated myself on my self restraint (budget will be really tight for up to 3 months as sale goes through on a rental property we had and now have no income from)
Then the non-buyer remorse set in, told myself I had to let myself have something. So I put 2 other things in my cart, since the $24 coupon was gone. It reappeared again, so I swapped back, deleted the others, and congratulated myself on that instead.
Bought a few grow light cob leds, electrical consumables (heat shrink, voltmeter display unit, CH340G USB/serial, silicone AWG, connectors, …) and a few slingshot items where the seller accidentally priced it to 9 cents. In total less than 10 bucks.
Nothing else, I am glad I resisted every single Gearbest offer I came across. I already had the Nitecore Tip CRI in my basket. after points way cheaper than anything anybody could build. But still didn’t purchase it.
I was going to buy BLF A6 since it was now for on sale 18$ (Last week the same light was priced at 28$) but since I’ve heard some bad things about it I decided I’ll pass.
Actually - just the Zanflare F2 for my parents. I was hoping for the F1 but I missed the promo. I also missed a couple of other sales (one of them because Gearbest’s own countdown clock was extremely inaccurate). I also got myself a CHUWI C-100 car charger but that’s before promo codes and it was … cheaper than during officiel 11.11 sales.
Do you own any others that are same/similar? I’m wondering about it’s accuracy. Obviously, at this price I’m not expecting miracles, but just hoping it’s good enough…
I am so glad that 11.11 is over - I can’t stand those “massive” discounts on AE…
0.06$ off the old price on a 30$ product - wow, what a deal…
If you know the normal prices of products, you will see that 90% of those “discounts” aren’t really good offers - many sellers put 1-2$ shipping on products, so in the end, you have the same price as before.

Between home and my shop I must have 7 various calipers. Digital, Dial and the basic $3 Vernier slide.
I have a good older digital Starrett with 0.0005”/0.01mm accuracy here I will compare it to when the CF one arrives.
I have some relatively cheap ones sub $30 that have been great. Even an old plastic General tool dial (my first).
One cheaper stainless steel caliper I have is in decimal inch and mm but also displays 1/128 fractions. That one is neat, no brain work converting. Nice for sorting drill bits or measuring pipe or bolts.
Don’t have a non-metallic one at home so thought it would be nice for the price. Displays only 0.1mm / 0.01 inch so I wouldn’t call it accurate. But for what I need, if it works it’s good.

Thanks. By the time you get it, the sale will be over. I went ahead and ordered it. I don’t own any calipers, analog or digital, so I just wanted to try something.
I’ve had an iGaging Absolute Origin 8” one sitting on my Amazon shopping list for a while now, but at $50+, I never pulled the trigger.
That iGaging Absolute Origin 8” seems pretty nice for the price. Think my old Starrett with same accuracy rating was almost $300 new. I got it used for free.
It may be overkill for a caliper because any machinist would use micrometers for accuracy, not a caliper. Calipers are a flawed design for accuracy.
So, I hear that the $10-15 HFT are fine for general measuring. Just make sure its the +–0.001 not 0.01. Most are very similar in looks and layout. Prolly all made by the same place different branding. Just like the display on the $6 CF model. So the $30 one may be exactly the same as HFT one on sale for $10. If you have a local store you can always take it back.
Yeah I was thinking that when I said I’ll let yo know. But for $6 it’s worth a shot. 350+ reviews and still holding a 4.88 out of 5.00 rating.
I am sure it sill suit the general needs of most.
