I like WW in general, but the CW version of the F1 is nicer than the NW. The CW has a greenish beam, but it’s not too objectionable. The NW is a rather hideous yellowish-green. They got the right version on sale (and I got one, yay!).

Does the F1 utilize a Glow In The Dark front o-ring?

I have found that some of my Convoys have a greenish outer ring due to the GITD o-ring.

This is due to the AR-coated glass. The hotspot is yellowish-green, the corona is painfully yellow-green, and the spill kind of faint yellow.

Absolutely beautiful light otherwise, though, incredibly nice and well-thought-out design, and ironically it’s using a better (coated) front glass that tinted the beam yellow-green.

I just ordered a new one too, so I’ll see if the newer version has a nicer color. I’ll gift the older one, haha. :smiling_imp:
