Those 500lm 3xC Duracell flashlights seem interesting. Probably would not be too difficult to convert them to 18650 or 26650… just need something to fill the rest of the tube with.
Fill it with another 18650 in parallel.

Careful, I just remembered that someone on BLF tried an 18650 in one of the Duracell lights and it blew the LED. I don’t know if it was one of these.

Place this in a 3/4” sleeve to use up the extra space and get twice the runtime

It's very important with the above to use a plastic or other non-conductive sleeve. Also, be very careful to put both cells in facing the same direction. You will get a direct short of both cells if they are not put in oriented correctly.

today they had about 30 pallettes covered with black plastic tarps and signs that said “no peeking until black friday”
a few tarps had been partially pulled up, saw some drill combo sets, some dewalt tool boxes etc, but they were mostly covered.
They are going to have Amazons Echo Dot for 5 days at $29.99
I never had heard of them until last Christmas when my wife had gifted 5 to house! 
I have NEVER seen them offered this cheap. They are always $49, never saw a lower price in the past year. They are really cool and useful.

Yeah, I just read all the BF newspaper ads, today is Thanks Giving. Virtually all retailers have the Echo Dot for $30 this year. 
These appear to be Coast FL85’s. I went out and purchased a pack this morning. I’ve been using both the Coast FL75 and 85 for over a year and they’re really nice. 20 bucks for 2 is crazy!!! Thinkin they’ll be gone before they go on clearance.
Hmm I think my HD is broken. Most of the lights from the huge thread above are not even showing up. I think there was only 3 types of flash lights and one type of lantern.
Going out tomorrow to take a look at the other HD, it is a bit bigger but this one should have had a bit more.
Some of the flashlights I posted about earlier are already at reduced prices. Others have already sold out.
Each year these items are brought out, and then later they go at a reduced price.

And just a month ago these were cleared out at half this price, and here they are again. Go figure

For this being a 4xAA light, it is pretty darn huge. Here it is next to the 3xC Defiant and Convoy S2+.
I haven’t done any measurements, but with a naked eye, light output from this 500 lm Husky seems pretty close to the 1000 lm Defiant. However, the Husky has a more intense hot spot. It also has mode memory, so I like its UI better than Defiant’s.
From negatives, the Husky has some ugly green tint right outside of the hot spot.
