Has anybody ordered & received their items from the Halloween promo? (coupon was Skeleton and it was around the 18th of October)
Made a few orders and nothing arrived yet, which is weird. Fasttech typically uses Intl. Airmail and this should be way faster… getting worried.

Yep, got mine a while ago. About 2 Thursdays ago, I think. Ie, not this last Thursday, but the one before.

I had a set of springs backordered the better part of a week or so, but once it all shipped, everything went like clockwork.

That’s one thing I like about FT, no crap about shipping, everything’s tracked, I can follow it step by step as it traipses its way halfway across the planet to get right to my (boss’s) doorstep. :smiley:

In the past no Fasttech shipment took longer than 21-23 days. This is the first time more than 30 days have passed :frowning:
Guess I’ll have to wait another week and then contact Fasttech.

Considering that I got four one-fer MIAs from GB which I ordered in late September, I’m wondering if there was some generic holdup in shipping somewhere.

Even though nominally “untracked”, I could still find them on track17, track24, whatever (the Russian site) at least as far as their arrival in customs here in the States. After that, there’s a handoff to the USPS, but no correlation to the new USPS tracking number.

When shipping via IB (Int’l Bridge), there’s the initial IB tracking number, but after the handoff they also list the USPS tracking number, and you can use the USPS site to take it from there.

So… dunno if anything’s related to 11-11, or they’re still stuck in a shipping container somewhere waiting for customs to clear it, or what. Maybe you got bit the same way.

So what shows up on tracking sites?

Same deal for a shipment of Oct 2 from GB for 2 Harnds Knives, on the Russian track it supposedly makes it to US customs and then…………Silence.
They are not automatics and customs have not seized/stolen any knives before but they are AWOL just the same.
GB says have to wait until Dec 6th for them to do anything.

Hopefully you are right, big backlog on cheap shipments.

Same here. Now I’m getting a bit concerned, as 2 of those 4 orders were for Enlans and Cimas. (The other 2 were for usb lights and a gearmotor.)

Come the 6th, I’ll see what GB says, but worst case, I’ll have to do a chargeback on the card for non-receipt of goodies. So I’m hoping GB can step in and maybe find out more info.

Drat. FT has a new “enter the code shown below” security interrupt.
Firefox won’t show the code even with no extensions enabled and no malware script protection.
Oddly, no “enter the code” barrier using Opera.

Is this logging in, checking out, or something else entirely?

GB has a new thingy when logging in, even just to see your orders. Annoying in that sometimes the letters are so illegible as to be impossible for even a hyu-mon to make out, and it takes multiple attempts.

Maybe this is to thwart hacquing or something?
