Suggestions for an Outdoor rated LED A series bulb

I have new exterior wall mount lights on order for my home. During this upgrade I am looking to update the bulbs too to gain some efficiency and not feel like I am burning 400W an hour like I am now when the lights are on. I am having trouble finding an A series LED bub thats affordable and rated for outdoor temps and moisture. My fixtures are on open on the bottom FWIW.

The bulbs should be a soft white. I hate the cool white bulbs on the exterior of peoples houses, they just look so out of place. It should also be a traditional “Edison” style bulb, not a PAR bulb suitable for ceiling cans. These light fixtures are what you would mount next to your garage door, side door, etc.

Any suggestions?

I should have specified (And I will go edit) I need a traditional bulb, not a down facing Par style bulb.

Hello! You may try this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5I9S9Z 30W for the replacement of 250W incandescent bulb
I bought one and it works amazing! I love it.

If you are looking for good quality outdoor LED lights then better try Mafee Mushkil. Their lighting store will give you so many options to find the perfect set of light fixtures and LED bulbs that will accentuate your outdoor space. And Select from various categories of light fixtures like outdoor chandeliers, wall lights, pathway lights, planter lights, pendants, garden lights, etc.

I have been using LED bulbs suitable for damp locations in outdoor “jelly jar” fixtures for a few years now. These are Utilitech bulbs from Lowes. I also have a 65w LED spotlight type bulb rated for damp locations in an outdoor fixture at my dads house. The fixture is open at the bottom and the bulb has lasted through one winter in Michigan so far.

Some of the local big box stores have outdoor rated LED bulbs but they are pretty expensive compared to standard bulbs.

Check your local stores periodically for the LED outdoor bulbs. I was at a Home Depot store near Detroit, MI and they had a 2 pack of 90 watt flood type bulbs for $10.99. A tag on the shelf indicated that the local power company subsidizes these price breaks.

You can also check your local power company website to see if they have these kinds of discounts available and where to get them.
