3. Any comments or suggestions to Astrolux lights (Products, shipping methods, features, after sale, returns or other policies and so on)

I have many observations and wishes/suggestions for future Astrolux products. Thank you very much, if you consider as many of them, as you can.
More important suggestions will be marked like this.

Existing products:

For the Astrolux A01, ‘middle’ mode output could be lowered to around 20 lumens, and low could be increased to about 1.5 lumens (the current low is a bit less than ideal for me to hunt keyholes with).

For packaging the S41/S42 (including body variants) lights, there should be an option to omit the short tube for those, who will only use these lights with 18650 batteries.

I would greatly appreciate (and would buy of course) such S41/S42 (including body variants) flashlights, which have warmer CCT tints (e.g. 4500K, 3500K, 2700K Nichia 219C (90+ CRI) and ~5300K, 4000K, 3000K XP-G2 or XP-G3 (80 CRI for a balanced trade of high output and reasonable color rendition)).

The flooder light MF01 has relatively low continuous output (less than 1500 lumen) compared to the maximum output. I think, here the body is a limiting factor. I would also reduce the maximum output on the Nichia variant a bit (maybe by 10%), because the generated heat feels a bit too much.

Future products:

A flooder flashlight with continuous 5000+ lumen would be very good to have.

Different purpose intermediate sized single 26650 cell flashlights (weighing around 330-400 gr with battery for better heat spreading capacity, with well defined cooling fins, examples as ideas below):

A/ An XHP70.2 flooder with wide beam TIR optics (preferably 40-60 degree hotspot diameter), with at least 3 different CCT choices (e.g. 5700K 80 CRI, 4500K 90 CRI, 3500K 90 CRI). The new XHP70.2 is a very efficient emitter, it could make a decent flooder with a steady 1800+ continuous lumens mode, in a relatively compact format. (also, this could make great use of the upcoming Golisi high drain cells)

B/ An XHP35 HI thrower with 90+ CRI (very few manufacturer makes high CRI throwers!), and at least 3 different CCT choices. It could provide a very decent (maybe 250-300kcd), but not record breaking throw in a relatively compact format.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot, that XHP35 is a 12V emitter, so it might not be a sensible choice for this purpose. Then an XP-L2 thrower with 90+ CRI with tight beamed TIR optics could be better.

Astrolux headlamp with so called ’Lava light’ emitters with around 1300-1500K CCT seen in the most recent Banggood E27 LED bulbs. This would be an ideal candidate for protecting dark adapted eyesight outdoors, while providing more visual information, than a monochrome red light. Normal maximum output of 100 lumen (200-250 lumen Turbo could be useful sometimes), and at least 5 normal levels OR stepless dimming, with a lower output limit of around 0.15 lumens. Beam profile could be moderately floody. Alternatively, momentary ON functionality according to mode memory could be good, and 0.5Hz location beacon.

1.What Astrolux light you ever bought?
Never had an Astrolux.

2.Which light you like best?
S42S.

3.Any comments or suggestions to Astrolux lights.
Better quality controls.

Yay my first win in a contest! Thanks everyone!

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you Banggood for the giveaway!

I might be interested in one of those, too.

I’d definitely buy an all-stainless steel S1, or an S1 in stainless steel with a copper head section. Consider it a single-emitter tube light version of the S41S

congrats to the winners
