According to the latest list of Neals, I did not order a set of batteries. How can I make sure that they do ship with my order as I paid for them and got my confirmation from Neal

Thanks

.

I think I just ordered the last 2 of these in stock. I'm taking a gamble the size I ordered will fit better

I plan to keep this light indefinitely. For me, faster or slower shipping doesn’t matter. I’d prefer them to get it right if it makes a difference.

I see you are on the list twice, at #734 where you requested a light and at #1343 where you requested a 2nd light plus batteries.

Did you request batteries for the first light as well, or did you add them when you ordered? Are you still planning to buy batteries with your second light?

Presently the folks from 1 to 1049 have got their payment instructions, so I assume you haven’t paid for the 2nd light and batteries yet.

If you added batteries with your first light when you ordered, it may have messed up the order list a little.

I think this is a situation where you would need to send a PM or email to Neal explaining the situation. Maybe title it “My Shipping Order Looks Wrong”.

First time I was on list for light (didn’t know that batteries would be offered) when I bought and paid for the light I ordered the batteries at that time as well

Second time on list I asked for both. I would like both for the second light as well

Thanks for your suggestion, I will email Neal with my original order and ask him to make sure both items come

Hello ,Does any one know if they will send an e-mail w/or without tracking numbers when the BLF GT ships ? Thanks…

TA a couple pages back said we should receive tracking# to PayPal email or a chance to the email you replied to Neal with…. When they ship out.

OK thank you !!

I don’t want to get too off topic, so I answered here.

It would have been nice if the battery carriers where designed to except flattop batteries. I have over 60 flattop 18650’s but no matching set of 8 button tops.

You can modify them to accept flat top.

That’s what I will wind up doing. I see no need to purchase more batteries. I have the GA’s and VTC6’s and the LG HG2’s that should run fine in the GT.

:+1:

Here a quick pic of carrier and mod to allow flat tops, the jest of it.

Lumintop, BLF and Myself don’t advise modifying battery carrier. Mod at your own risk.

Be mind full of battery orientation when loading carrier.

You can also solder blobs onto your flat tops instead.

I did the solder blobs on some laptop batteries I had, just for an extra set, even though I purchased the button tops offered.
But I do find it a bit strange the carriers weren’t set up to accept both flat tops and button tops.

Not sure its the exact reason, think it just has to do with polarity protection and them covering there own butts. The early design, you wouldn’t of had to mess with solder, just unscrew it.

It’s for safety reasons. The button top requirement is a form of polarity protection.

Just make sure the 4 cells in the carrier are matched since they are in series.

It’s because the driver doesn’t have built in polarity protection.
