Always the coolest builds

Pure porn

Unreal

Wow, Nice work. That is an ODD one. Like a resistor fan SW.
Consider a Pot in the tail?

Nice idea, probably could but I do prefer set modes as opposed to variable output.
Taking this one apart has given me some ideas for future builds though

I think something may be going on with Guy from MBI. He hasnt been online for a while and his website is down since a few days.

Can I ask what size wire is used in the hf-r. Or what size you used if you replaced it.

Possibly 30AWG & 28AWG.

Another monumental build! Very nice work CRX!

I do not understand everything that happens though, your pictures without words always make it quite a tough puzzle to work out eveything that is going on.

I thought pictures spoke a thousand words!
I know, Iā€™m bad for that but it makes people think about it a little :smiling_imp:

I think I did the MT-G2 mod first then the other emitter swaps and then seeing what I could eventually pack into the tiny host.

I basically swapped resistor values, changed them around so the switch works the opposite way, upgraded everything and built in a lighted side switch.

Then I also added a tiny charger unit into the 10250 cell extension piece which also has the lighted momentary side switch. very useful that one.

So, the longer version ended up with built in charging and a momentary lighted side switch.
The copper version was a repair job & new emitter.
The short Ti version has a shortened rotary switch and GITD coated reflector.
